SF Pregame
Coming off a bye, they are on a 3rd straight road game....
Skins 37-17 KC 300 yards 4 tds |
Re: SF Pregame
49ers could be 3-2 or 4-1, Hoyer is the reason they are 0-5, he sucks!! CJ Beathard would give them a better chance, Redskins need to be cautious as the 49ers do have a solid D and a decent offense minus QB.
Players to be aware of: Offense Garcon Hyde Kittle Staley and Trent Brown are solid bookends Defense: Armstead Bruckner Thomas Foster (if he plays) Dummervil Bowman Reid Tartt |
Re: SF Pregame
Yes, Hoyer sucks but CJ Beathard is not the answer for them. They don't have an answer at the QB position. We must not lose this game.

We need to win this game with authority. If we are any good this year this game should be a cake walk. |

This is a game the Skins should win and will win.
Skins 27 SF 17 |
Re: SF Pregame
SF will be lucky to win 3 games. Skins should pound them.

Re: SF Pregame
We gotta lotta injuries...hope we are ready to play. We should win
Skins 30-19 |
49ERS 31 SKINS 30 This is a classic trap game that redskins are famous for losing...
We've been an average/below average team that hasn't won a playoff game a 12 years, and currently sit at 2-2. How is this a trap game? |
Re: SF Pregame
I'm concerned about the running game, since Kelly is banged up and may not play, Perine has a bad case of the fumbles, and the team doesn't want to overuse Thompson to avoid possible injuries. My knee-jerk reaction is for them to have Mack Brown available, but there may be a reason why he's the 4th stringer?
I hope this is a get right game for Reed, Pryor and Doctson. Passing game has been good, but we have too much talent at the receiver position and it could be much better. |
Re: SF Pregame
Also reading that Williams is 50/50. He's a beast, so I bet he'll play.
|
Re: SF Pregame
I think the game will be a lot closer than people think, but I thinkt he 'skins will win it.
|
Re: SF Pregame
I havent watched the Niners play this year but last 4 loses have all come by 3 points w 2 OT games.
With our injuries, we should win but its not a gimme. Fortunately, it seems like teams cant just run it up our gut for 3-5 yards like last season. Now teams have to work well in all phases to control clock and move the chains. fudge -- Skins and ravens both have 1 pm home games, I think that means the skins game will only be available in non-HD for Howard County Comcast customers. I cant go back to non-HD. Its horrible. You cant see the ball. Its just colored pixels swirling around like a klaidescope. |

I did this with my FIOS box and then I just channeled to 5; beautiful HD FOX 5 out of DC. I am north of B-more and FIOS up here carries no DC channels. Really weird but it works. |

How about just Snacks Harrison for WR Pryor? yall need a receiver and I want Snack in the middle of our Defense. I wanted us to sign the guy 2 years ago and he's been maybe your best player on the defense so far this year. |

Good call. I had that thought in the back of my head. |
Re: SF Pregame
As long as the team is focused on the game ONLY, this should be a win (see Skins vs LA Raiders to see what happens to west coast teams here). 49ers are currently a mess on and off the field. Bury them early.

Re: SF Pregame
If we played to the best of our potential, this game shouldn't be close. However that rarely happens, so it'll probably be a close game. Definitely winnable though.
|
Re: SF Pregame
Skins 31 SF 13
Let's make a statement, close this one early. I don't care if it's 31 - 17 at the end of the game, but I want it to be at least 24 - 7 at the beginning of the 4th quarter ! Just. Win. Early. Oh and btw I want 57 sacks. Envoyé de mon SM-J320FN en utilisant Tapatalk |
Re: SF Pregame
The 49ers have been in all of their games. We shouldn't assume we can wax them.
Then again we waxed the Raiders so 27 - 20, Skins. I think we stop their running attack pretty well and put them in plenty of 3rd and longs. Hoyer's not going to pick up enough of them. |
Re: SF Pregame
ESPN's Dianna Russini reports Josh Norman (lung, ribs) could return against the Eagles in Week 7.
Norman hasn't resumed running yet but is already back in the weight room. Washington plays a Monday Night game in Week 7, which gives Norman an extra day to recover. Norman was originally given a four-week recovery window after going down with a broken rib in Week 4, but now it looks like he could be back in half that time. good |
Re: SF Pregame
cross country trip, 3rd road game in a row and plus skins are well rested. could be a blowout. time for doc, crowder, pryor and reed to get going.

LOL, sorry.I just want the injuries gone(and McAdoo and Reese). |
Re: SF Pregame
This isn't a must win game, but it's definitely an identity check.
- If we are the Skins of old, we come out and lay an egg. - If we have moved to the next level, we come out and the win is never in question. - the 3rd possibility is we keep Gruden's identity - we come out slow, looking a bit lost, but get it going by the 2nd half and win/lose/tie a one score game that keeps Skins fans in cardiac arrest with 2minutes to go. |
SF Pregame
It would be nice to put them away early so all the nervous nellies can calm the F down. Until it’s time to start whining and worrying about the next week of course.

Okay..its not a trap game! we lose anyway..because thats what the redskins do they lose to bad teams..call it what you want but when everybody in the country picks the skins in a blowout that my friend is a trap. i can see the giants beating us also for their first win. I see your point about how below average we have been ..but some folks think we are getting a lot better and could actually make playoffs.. we will have to win these games against bad teams to do that. |

I hear ya, sometimes its a curse to be like the only realist on here. This is a 6 win at best team and they already lucked themselves into 2. Where the other 4 wins come from? I dont see it on the schedule. Im guessing we will split with the Giants and cowboys. Thats 4. Chargers is a toss up but thats 5. Eagles - loss Seahawks - loss Cards - probably a loss Broncos - ass whoopin Vikings - loss You are 100% right, we need to beat the 49ers to get to 6 wins. later on in the season, lets try not to be all "I told you so" .. but man how good is it going to feel to be right when everyone is so wrong. I see it. You see it. The others will take time. |
SF Pregame
^ classic
I thought 4 wins was our ceiling... 6 would be like making the playoffs |
Re: SF Pregame
SF is not good, but they don't stop playing. A team could give them a game with stupid mistakes (muffed punts, penalties, fumbles, picks, onside kicks, etc.). In fact, that's usually not even enough for them. Watch the highlights of the Rams game. The score shouldn't have been close, but they gave away 2 TO deep in their own territory. Also, the colts game wasn't that close either. They were down 23-9 in the 4th and marched down the field against a prevent D.
They are a scrappy team. But if we limit our mistakes, there is no reason the skins should lose the the 9ers. WAS - 33 SF - 20 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Per the Skins Twitter account:
OUT for #SFvsWAS: Josh Norman & Ty Nsekhe. Doubtful: Rob Kelley & Deshazor Everett. Questionable: Trent Williams. Man I hope Silverblunt can go...and I hope he lays off the medicinal for pain. |
Re: SF Pregame
Trent will be in there

Re: SF Pregame
Niners LB Navaro Bowman wants a trade. 29 years old w an injury history. Didnt know he is from District Heights.
This may be a good trade scenario for Kirk. We know he is going to start to waffle as the season goes on. He is at best a 10-15 mil QB and no way we give him 24 mil plus. Sell high imo. Bowman just got cut. That helps us even more. We should beat them by 10 at least on Sunday.
