Hawks pre game thread
Vegas has Seattle a 7 point favorite, If we don't have TW and BS back I think it'll be a blowout.
If we do have those guys maybe we can pull the upset. Until I hear something i'm going with Seattle 27-17 |
Re: Hawks pre game thread
Every week, even with injuries, I think we're primed for an upset. Maybe this week is the week?
|
Re: Hawks pre game thread
I guess the question is: is Seattle better than Dallas? We just killed ourselves with turnovers and penalties that game and still had a shot in the end.

Seems like every week we kill ourselves, penalties too (some total bullshit) |

Good point. The Seahawks have no running game. Containing Wilson will be key though. And the loss of Ioannidis will hurt us badly. And, believe it or not, our D, stat wise, is better than the Seahawks D (Overall Skins 12th/Hawks 17th - Pass Skins 13th/Hawks 12th - Rush Skins 13th/Hawks 20th). If we get Scherff and Bree back, I say we can win this one 27 - 24. If we don't, we lose 28 - 20. |

Like I mentioned in another post, McClure would be IR’d and was, meaning Hall will be activated. Not a fan of Hall, but need healthy bodies. |

correct.:twocents: I mean it wasn't an acceptable excuse for the Giants in 13 and 14(according to you) ,so, why now? |
Re: Hawks pre game thread
There's no way this team wins in Seattle. No logical reason except for pure will power - which does happen from time to time. Realistically, this is an 'L' for our team. Emotionally, I want the 'skins to beat the snot out of the Seahawks and embarrass them in front of their fair weather fans and their gum chewing coach.

Re: Hawks pre game thread
Ahhh Sunday. Going to be perfect fall weather. Im going to get some yardwork in early. Possibly a nice bike ride. On vacation the following week so maybe a road trip. Sunday is wide open. Probably no TV. Always the same old crap on TV. Anyway...

I don't see the need for Hall. As a healthy back up ok. But right now who do you start him over in our secondary? |

But right now who do you start him over in our secondary?
You don't need to start D. Hall in order for him to get on the field. There are plenty of packages where D. Hall can come in with the present starters. I think it's a good idea to activate him. |

This is gonna be bad...that's all I got for this weekend.

Re: Hawks pre game thread
i think d hall will ball out on sunday after getting back into the swing of things through qtr # 1
|
Re: Hawks pre game thread
Seattle is still good enough to get wins but they are flawed. Their o-line is almost as bad as ours. Their d is suspect at this point. If we can just get some things going in the passing game downfield we have a swingers chance. I think the difference is Wilson will break our defense with a few runs.
Seattle 31 Skins 17 |

Seattle 31 Skins 17
I just see no chance this team wins up there unless RW gets banged up or we just go crazy on Offense. |
Re: Hawks pre game thread
They might be without Earl Thomas which helps our cause.

need them to be W/O Sherman too lol |
Re: Hawks pre game thread
I think the Skins keep this game closer than it should be for longer than anyone expects but dont have the firepower to compete for 60 minutes.
Seattle 35 Skins 20 |
Re: Hawks pre game thread
I think the game will be relatively close for three quarters, then the Seahawks will pull away in the fourth quarter. Our team just doesn't have enough experience and juice to keep up. I will be absolutely, positively, shocked if the 'skins win this game. I won't be upset in the least and I'm always hopeful, but it will most definitely be considered an upset if the 'skins are able to somehow pull out a victory in Seattle.

Re: Hawks pre game thread
yeah it would be a awesome upset if we could win but i dont see it

Weather in Seattle for Thurs, Fri, Sat and Sunday is rainy with temps in the mid to low 40s ... that cant be good for our knee, ankle and hammy injuries. Cant catch a break this season. Even the early bye screwed us. Reason #123 to hate the Seahawks -- these assholes havent had to play in England yet. WTF is that about. |
Re: Hawks pre game thread
Its time the skins win one of these games.
Skins 27 Hawks 17 |

But I agree Hall is good insurance if one of our safeties is hurt, and maybe he can rotate with Moreau and Fuller at the nickel spot?

FFS...these aren't just 1 week injuries...these are fucking mutli weeks injuries. And I heard Jordan Reed is most likely out
Wow, just looking at that list of those who didn't practice. Some big names in there that have been difference makers this year. How I wish the IR rules were like the were back in the 80's when you could literally stash players away on IR and activate them later. |
Re: Hawks pre game thread
Well for one, they need to dress 53 each week. fuck inactives...make everyone active. Concussion protocol and the more cautious approach to injuries, we need to dress everyone these days.
