Re: Hawks post game
Beautiful win. Such a tough win...hands down great defense game. Cousins beautiful throws under pressure all day. I thought this was a game where he put it on his shoulders and really showed me something with that last drive.

Re: Hawks post game
So many heroes in this game. Cousins finally comes from behind, Manusky's boys dominate. The 2 guys that stood out for me where Lanier and Brown on defense, Lanier looked better than Josh Allen today (monster game). Fantastic win!!
|
Re: Hawks post game
Gutsy win, if we can get some guys healthy this season is far from over. Good win to build on.
|
Re: Hawks post game
More bombs to Doctson please!!!! What a freaking catch.
Now I can't cuss rest of season. |
Re: Hawks post game
As this team gets healthier and we get players back, our backups will be better and this team will be better, I hope Josh Allen comes back this year would to see him next to Lanier.
|
Re: Hawks post game
You didn't see it on the tv but i am guessing the CBs and safetys played lights out all game long. Wilson had some time alot but he rarely found someone to hit
|
Re: Hawks post game
I thought the secondary had a amazing day...so many times no one open Wilson had to tuck it or an impromptu dump off. Kendal fuller is playing at a pro bowl level.
|
Re: Hawks post game
I was s-o-o-o wrong about this game. This was an outstanding win! The Skins showed a ton of heart. HTTR!
|
Re: Hawks post game
Hopefully KC shuts up a lot of his critics. What a couple of great throws and a great catch by Doc. And what a great effort by the D. Just a tremendous win against a good team.

Re: Hawks post game
Next 2 games are gonna be tough too. Brutal part of the schedule.

Re: Hawks post game
We almost had 5 picks.
Also, kudos to DHall, he defended that Hail Mary at the end of the game. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk |
Re: Hawks post game
I am pretty sure I've never heard Rodney Harrison say 1 good thing about the Redskins. He almost seems upset when we win.

We will have Nsekhe, Shereff, Williams, Crowder and others back, as the team gets healthier we will dominate. Loved what I saw out of Lanier, makes the loss of Allen not so bad. |

He’s a d-bag, can’t they get someone better in that studio?? He’s terrible. |
Re: Hawks post game
Gritty win. Hell fucking yes.

He's so biased, you can tell he has teams he likes and teams he'll never say anying good about. I'm not a big fan of the whole SNF show in general. Could be a lot better. |
Re: Hawks post game
Olbermann and Tony Dungy gave the skins props tonight. Rodney Harrison did not say one word. He just stared at the camera.

Re: Hawks post game
Anybody got video of NBC pregame? I'd love to see their reactions, I know Dungy ain't a fan and he thinks our name is a slur.

Skins postgame said we only dressed 43 guys. I didnt realize we didn't even have enough healthy people to have the full number of dressed players..
|
Re: Hawks post game
97 saved the game for us.
That sack was a big time hustle play. |

Didn't Scherff start but leave the game in the first? Catalina was getting pushed around all game. |
Re: Hawks post game
I haven't been this proud of our team in a long time. What an effort being so short handed - HAIL TO THE REDSKINS!!!

Hawks post game
I think the team likes to play for Jay, but he needs to put down the clip board and just pick upsome pom-poms. We need a new play caller. Dude calls some God awful games. We also need to get our oline healthy fast. Quick looked pretty serviceable from the small amount I watched. Anyway big time fucking play by the defense. Big props to Manusky. He is the real deal. HTTR. There’s whiskey in the jar- o.
|
Re: Hawks post game
was the Seattle crowd loud? didnt sound like listening from the NFL.com radio
|
Re: Hawks post game
Not sure what plays Jay can call with that o-line. Seemed to work out in the end.
Great win. Great team effort. Love the D, and that was a bad-ass drive to win it. Doctson can ball. Loved the secondary. Great to see D-hall back. Needed that one. I hate Seattle! |

We can't trust Perine, Kelly has been OK but not great, and Thompson is not an 3 down back. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk |

My issue with Gruden is that he's not moving KC around at all. No read option, very little boots, no rolling pockets. He's got to do more in that area with the way the line is. |
Re: Hawks post game
Sounds like Scherff and Nicholson were active because there was no more room for inactives, yet there was no chance they would play so they had to stand in uniform on the sideline. Crazy the NFL doesn't have a method to counteract that.

I don't think the running game can get fixed until the off season. Even with everyone healthy running it is a struggle. Kelley is just average and Perine is obviously just not ready. The current state of the line is a mess. At this point we just run to keep the defense honest, not to actually gain yards. |
Re: Hawks post game
great feeling, esp after getting soaked in that game last week and walking out of that stadium thinking we were done. i love this franchise but man we need to start winning dammitt

Re: Hawks post game
Watching the game again, one killer D play that jumped out was Norman's takedown of Rawls on a 3rd and 1 that stopped a 4th quarter drive. Had a stiff arm in the face and just crushed him by taking that arm and pinning it to the turf. We really missed him.
