Heartbreak City: Redskins-Saints Postgame Thread
Man fuck this fucking team. What the flying fuck. Fuckin a right. God damn embarrassing. 15 point lead with 3 minutes left. The game is 60 fucking minutes you fucks.
Cry here ladies and gents. |

Key thing for me is his choice of defensive coordinators. Manusky is better than Barry but when everybody is better than Barry that ain't saying much. This is the worst 2 minute defense I've seen in almost 2 decades of watching this team. The last 3 drives were embarrassing, and totally par for the course this year. This is the key reason why I won't be sad if Gruden gets canned. No idea how you can put this on the offense, they did their job. The 2nd to last drive was weak but I also put that on Gruden for the uninspired playcalling. He called brilliant plays all fucking game but couldn't do it when it mattered most. |
Re: Heartbreak City: Redskins-Saints Postgame Thread
I don’t think personnel is the problem with this team anymore. It’s poor coaching.

This one stung me.

Re: Heartbreak City: Redskins-Saints Postgame Thread
I have said it a billion times the Redskins very rarely get blown out and dominated they kill themselves all the time. Its crazy to think how things would have been if they didnt kill themselves. I use to get really mad to the point it would ruin the rest of the day, not anymore.
|
Re: Heartbreak City: Redskins-Saints Postgame Thread
Tank for a draft pick and maybe if we play poor enough they’ll clean house in regards to these shitty ass coaches.

Re: Heartbreak City: Redskins-Saints Postgame Thread
Gruden is a choker and a bitch.
That sums up this one. |
Re: Heartbreak City: Redskins-Saints Postgame Thread
My wife said to me when we scored the last td if there was anyway the Saints could win,I said hell yeah its the Redskins!
Unfuckingbelievable! And we haven’t even discussed losing Chris thompson for the season,This team has to be cursed! I can’t see any other explanation for shit we do and happens to us. Losing the The chance at the field goal before the half could have been the difference, and Jay should have allowed him to try it anyway,He just kicked one 55 yards last week, this one Was only one yard longer and inside. Then too conservative on the drive we needed to close out The game, then what I thought was a horrible third-down call. And I don’t see how the refs called intentional grounding, I did not think he was even under pressure, it looked to me like the receivers just ran the wrong route .Leave it to the Redskins |
Re: Heartbreak City: Redskins-Saints Postgame Thread
This team will not fuck up my Thanksgiving. I'm not watching. I'll record it and if they will I'll fast forward to highlights.
|
Re: Heartbreak City: Redskins-Saints Postgame Thread
I don't even know how to feel anymore. I hate being so pissed off over a football game, especially in front of my little one, but damn, this one hurt. We lose a game that was pretty much won, we lose Chris Thompson for the rest of the year, we darn near lost Kirk Cousins. We'll probably lose him once the season is done, and we'll once again be looking for a new coaching staff by the end of the season. Such a tortured life to live as a Redskins fan.
|
Re: Heartbreak City: Redskins-Saints Postgame Thread
Yeah I thought the intentional grounding was a miscommunication and not Kirk trying to bail on the throw, but the refs apparently thought different.
I'm just mad that we can play 56 minutes of inspired, passionate football and you can't even protect a 15 point lead with 3 minutes left. Gruden has improved this team from when he inherited it, but his deficiencies are starting to wear thin. |

This is the sad part. Like you, I don't allow myself to care too much about the Redskins' fortunes, good or bad. The reign of King Dan has drained me of my former passion for Redskins football. I perked up when Snyder finally hired a real GM. But then he allowed Smithers to undermine that GM. Snyder just can't get out of his own way. I believe that the FO set up we have now is an impending disaster that will derail the rebuild that began a couple of years ago. That's why I can't let myself get too excited about Redskins football anymore, |

Yeah at this point what does it fucking matter if they win or lose,We’re out of the playoffs and I don’t give a fuck anymore |
Re: Heartbreak City: Redskins-Saints Postgame Thread
Nothing else matters, Cousins included, unless Gruden is fired. Won't win anything with him as the coach. I was pro Gruden for a long time, but that ship sank. He's a loser.
Don't want Manusky and the ST coach too. Clean fucking house. |
Re: Heartbreak City: Redskins-Saints Postgame Thread
Sums it up week after week.

Too bad we'll never know what McVay and Cousins could have done together without bitchboy in the middle.
|
Re: Heartbreak City: Redskins-Saints Postgame Thread
You know what will happen. We’ll go 4-2 over the last six to finish 8-8, management will think Gruden deserves another year, and we’ll shoot ourselves in the foot again next year and go 8-8 again.

Re: Heartbreak City: Redskins-Saints Postgame Thread
I'am so sick of zone defense at the end of haves and to protect a lead at the end of games. HTTR WTF!!!!!
|
Re: Heartbreak City: Redskins-Saints Postgame Thread
Spent 65 bucks to go get my heart stomped on. Thanks Redskins!
|
Re: Heartbreak City: Redskins-Saints Postgame Thread
Things that are guaranteed, minus the random weird 1/1000 games like the Seattle win we got:
We will get outplayed at the end of every half and 4th quarter, our ST's will be shitty as pooh on fire on your porch, and Gruden will call a dumb fucking play when it matters most. |
Re: Heartbreak City: Redskins-Saints Postgame Thread
I blame both coaching and the QB. Sometimes you have numbers that do not reflect reality. The box score does not tell the story with the Redskins. Kirk looks better on paper than he is in real life, he puts up meaningless stats in loses. When the game is on the line he makes fatal mistakes. The Skins aren't winning anything of significance with him or Gruden, time to start over. How many games do top NFL QBs or coaches lose up 15 with 3min to go? Answer, none.

Re: Heartbreak City: Redskins-Saints Postgame Thread
It's the 2016 defense all over again. We have to be able to score 40 points every week just to have a decent shot at winning. We will probably win one of the giants games and lose the rest in wild shootouts. 5-11 this season.
Does anyone get fired I wonder if we tank down the stretch? Jay is probably safe, or is he? |

Glad the team was able to pick him up with a win, oh wait they shit all over him. |
Re: Heartbreak City: Redskins-Saints Postgame Thread
Once again Gruden proves his play calling is predictable on 3rd and short at least 3 games this season he’s had shitty plays called.
|
Re: Heartbreak City: Redskins-Saints Postgame Thread
Gruden is a shitty HC and a dumb as fuck OC. Manusky is a bad DC. There's a reason no one wanted him to be hired. We need to bring in a whole new staff. Clean house. Also need to fire Bruce and get real GM. But that will never happen.

I agree. Kind of hard to watch Jay get out coached and outsmarted week after week. Manusky's defense might actually finish the year worse than our defense was last year... To not fire anyone after this type of embarrassment just sends the message that Dan is okay with this type of ineptitude. |
Re: Heartbreak City: Redskins-Saints Postgame Thread
Coaches can’t help having a liability like D. Hall on the field cause Nicholson got hurt.

I'd fire Gruden today. Let Callahan be the interim HC then wait to after the season and see who the Top 10 defenses are, then hire the toughest nastiest son of a bitch out of those 10 DCs to be HC. Let him hire an actual OC. |
Re: Heartbreak City: Redskins-Saints Postgame Thread
I'm with you skins fan - Gruden and company has to go. He's the poor man's Jeff Fisher.

Re: Heartbreak City: Redskins-Saints Postgame Thread
