Giants / Thanksgiving pre game
 

I don't really care about this game, I think we will win easy tbh.

But I'd like to say I'm thankful for this site and all of you folks for going through this misery love relationship with this team. I've been a member for a long time now and I don't know what I'd do if this site went away, so Matty u are screwed.

Anyways u guys/girl (rave) all have a hell of a holiday, this is my first one in NY as a resident so it's a new change for me.

As for the game

I think you'll see another string performance from perine and our D will be pist off.

I don't think I will be able to stomach watching this one. I think we should win easily, but we are the Skins, and we haven't done much of that recently. What would be nice is to get on a real winning role against teams we should be better than, and really get Gruden feeling his oats as a HC.

The Redskins have promoted linebacker Pete Robertson off the practice squad, per sources. Robertson has worked inside and outside for Washington. At inside linebacker, the Redskins lost Mason Foster and Will Compton while Zach Brown has left the locker room the last two games in a walking boot thanks to a sore right Achilles.

Zach Brown has not been explosive or as quick the last couple game...finally have a reason why.

Time for the Giants to get Spaighted cause you know they all females.

That’s what has hurt team this team lately, not having Brown’s speed on the outside . He’s invaluable and must be signed.

The Redskins also are promoting nose tackle A.J. Francis to the active roster, a move first reported by ESPN980. With Terrell McClain now banged up the Redskins need more depth along the front.

T McClain has been a terrible free agent bust.

The Redskins also put center Spencer Long on injured reserve. Long will need surgery on his quad tendon. His replacement, Chase Roullier, injured his hand and his status is uncertain Thursday.

Yesh .... these injuries have exposed our O line depth imo. Really Nysehke is our only acceptable back up.

Offseason, I would love to add a good center, then make Long the backup for G/C. That way we have 2 guys in Nysehke and Long who are capable.

I'm more worried about Roullier, he ain't perfect but his backup might not even be a center lol.

Long will either be the starting LG or not on the team next year. Chase is the new starting center.

Always pissed me off that this bitch gets movie roles and jobs while Dexter Manley is chastised.
Edit: not to mention the hall of fame. Not that LT didn’t have football numbers but if ur going to hold shit against people than be consistent.

I agree with Schneed, injuries suck, but we didn't let that stop us against a better team on the road in Seattle. I just had this conversation with my coworkers, we will know exactly what type of team we have. If we come out pissed off, and ready from the start, it won't be a close game. 63-10 will never happen, but if our character is sound I expect a win by double digits. If we come out and look lousy from the start my faith in this locker room is going to go down exponentially.

Heard Keim on local sports show driving in to work...he said he cant remember a season in Redskins history where more players have been so injured and being sent to IR is a big deal. He said not only IR starters, but also where their top talent, Reed and Silverback, have also been injuried all season and are trying to play through it. Those two severely affect the offense...

And he lead into the next topic of in spite of the 2 top players on offense injured and the loss of both starting WRs....Cousins is playing his best season at QB in his career.

Honestly, I don't think losing SL is a big deal. To me, he's always been the weak link on the offensive line. However, having both him and Long out, and possibly the rook out as well is going to be tough.

It's the cumulative effect on the line - all the off the street bodies and 3rd stringers. I feel like Callahan ought to get coach of the year...
Is Nsehke ready to starting anywhere on the line? That would be a boost.

While I do not hold LT in good regard as a person his football abilities where a little bit different then Dexter Manley's.
