No leaks yet as the league will have it's yearly show on ESPN and NFLN tonight,

figured we can post the schedule and PT games around the league here.

Rumor is we will play Dallas on Turkey day again... Haven't seen that yet tho.

Week 4 bye. We get kinda a second bye with the thanksgiving day game and then off.

Only 2 home games in the last 6 games but I believe everything east coast travel sans the cowboys of those 4.

Glad we're opening on the road, wish it was against AFC team. We struggle week 1, would like to have the "most harmless" possible loss be that week.

Thanksgiving is either going to be absolutely amazing or amazingly shitty.

First and most important comment, we really have no idea if this is a hard schedule or easy schedule. Teams change so much from year to year.

At first blush it looks tougher at the end. We finish with 4 out of 6 on the road and 4 of the 6 are playoff teams. But you just don’t know.

But... if we can start well, we should have our division destiny in our hands because we get Philly twice in December. If we keep it a close race we’ll have our shot to dethrone them. Easier said than done but I’d rather have my destiny in my own hands.

And lastly fuck the Eagles and HTTR.

Is there really such a thing as an easy schedule? I don't know of a bigger waste of time than evaluating a schedule in April.

That said we sure as hell better start off 2-0.

I really think this is a terrific schedule in as much as a schedule can be good or bad.

September is 3 winnable games, though GB is always tough. You have 2 home games, Indy then GB, then a bye and the next game is a Monday night away game. That gives you the bye, plus travel day.

The middle of the schedule:
WEEK 6 (Oct. 14) vs. Carolina Panthers, 1 p.m. ET;
WEEK 7 (Oct. 21) vs. Dallas Cowboys, 4:25p.m. ET;
WEEK 8 (Oct. 28) at New York Giants, 1 p.m. ET;
WEEK 9 (Nov. 4) vs. Atlanta Falcons, 1 p.m. ET;
WEEK 10 (Nov. 11) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 1 p.m. ET;

has no serious travel, and a fairly consistent level of opponents, all winnable and all on Sunday for the consistency that Gruden excels at. We could easily go 4-1 in this stretch.

Then the end game, where we have been bad of late, but I think the addition of Alex Smith changes that this year:
WEEK 11 (Nov. 18) vs. Houston Texans, 1 p.m. ET;
WEEK 12 (Nov. 22) at Dallas Cowboys, 4:30 p.m. ET;
WEEK 13 (Dec. 3) at Philadelphia Eagles, 8:15 p.m. ET;
WEEK 14 (Dec. 9) vs. New York Giants, 1 p.m. ET;
WEEK 15 (Dec. 16) at Jacksonville Jaguars, 1 p.m. ET;
WEEK 16 (DATE TBD) at Tennessee Titans, 1 p.m. ET;
WEEK 17 (Dec. 30) vs. Philadelphia Eagles,1 p.m. ET

Houston at Home at 1pm before Dallas at Dallas Thanksgiving is a lot better than the year we had a night game before thanksgiving. Then a 10 day prep for Philly - I don't love that it is a Night game, but if we are going to make a (good or bad)statement leading into December it will be that game.

Finally December is a playoff prep, other than the Giants we get teams that should be contending, and we will have to prove that the team is ready for the playoffs to earn a playoff spot.

I like the whole set up. Now the Skins have to go out and play the games!

I don't ever really take much into the schedule, u have to factor in so many things.. Injuries, weather , time zones... Plus the whole league is mostly the same, parody is very much so alive in the NFL.

i mean, thats the job of the design team, and interns and shit lol, the decisions may come from the operations ppl, or the owner, but somebody, somewhere, is sleeping on fanbase interaction. Hell, the marketing department you would think would be all over shit like that given the season ticket sales have plummeted and even the wait list has dried up..... but, as said b4, our ownership could give a shit less about us fans.
