My top 3 for this round
1. Hernandez (doubt he will be there) 2. Guice 3. Andrews |

Finally, Andrews. Sigh. There you go again with your Sooner glasses on. He is not Top 3. Edit: OK, I changed my mind. I'll give you Andrews but don't get carried away with any more Sooners. ;) |

I don't trust Reed to play 5 games and VD is getting old. Giants will take Hernandez its gotta be their top choice |

Dallas Goedert is a good choice as well, I'm probably in the minority on TE in the 2nd but if Hernandez and Guice are gone I'd love a TE |

edit...mis read. Im hoping RB/ Wil Hernandez |
Day 2 thread: rounds 2-3
I think we’ll have a decent shot at Chubb or Jones
If Hernandez is somehow still there jump all over him |
Re: Day 2 thread: rounds 2-3
I was surprised NE took Michel, very unlike them.. It could be a sign of future after Brady.. They will need a RB to carry the load soon.

Re: Day 2 thread: rounds 2-3
I like where we sit, 12th pick in tonight's festivities.
There are several players who I'd be very happy with at that spot: Guard Will Hernandez UTEP RB Derrius Guice LSU Slot CB Donte Jackson LSU CB Josh Jackson Iowa RB Nick Chubb Georgia C/G James Daniels Iowa Edge Rush OLB Harold Landry Boston College Free Safety Ronnie Harrison Alabama Free Safety Justin Reid Stanford RB Ronald Jones USC |

I am thinking it will be either RB Jones or some sort of 2nd string secondary. I don't see the top 2 remaining interior OL dropping to us. Unfortunately, there are 2 top OL, and 2 top RB's...but there are 12 slots until us :( |

He's a monster. I think Guice may slide to us... CLE wont take a RB, Colts are our main threat for Guice imo. |

Colts and Tampa. No way we move up for a guard. Giants are definitely getting him. The only reason we would move up would be for Guice...and then how? next years pick? hand someone Kelley? I just dont see it. I would say it is either Jones or some secondary. Although TE theoretically looks like the right value...how do you justify 4 TE's on a team without a starter at Guard or RB? We can pick a guard later or even a RB if the top 2 of each are gone and sadly go secondary depth. It is all about trying to find a starter. Odd's just dont look good though outside of Jones for RB. I hope I am wrong and we get either Guice or Daniels the center. |

good article, because it gives 13 names, meaning at least 1 will be there. I don't know if their board exactly matches this article, but gives me some names to watch: Connor Williams of Texas. Will Hernandez of UTEP Lorenzo Carter of Georgia Harold Landry of Boston College Nick Chubb Kerryon Johnson Ronald Jones Derrius Guice Josh Jackson Isaiah Oliver, tight end Dallas Goedert, safety Ronnie Harrison, wide receiver D.J. Bruce must love the guy and believe that he is a real difference- maker. If that is true, then they must move up to grab him. |

(Gs available: Smith, Corbett or Hearn / RBs available Chubb, Jones, Johnson, Kelly, Hines and others).
That might be the way to go if this is going to be a needs-based draft. BPA is not the Skins' approach, no matter how much lip service they may give it. |
Re: Day 2 thread: rounds 2-3
To get Guice, actually yeah a trade might be necessary, if you really think he's head & shoulders above Chubb and Ronald Jones.
Here's the order of the 2nd round tonight, and who their top RB is. I'm bolding the teams that could take a RB: 1 Cleveland (lead back: Carlos Hyde) 2 New York (Saquon Barkley) 3 Cleveland (Carlos Hyde) 4 Colts (Marlon Mack who??) 5 Colts (Marlon Mack who??) 6 Bucs (Jacquizz Rodgers) 7 Bears (Jordan Howard) 8 Broncos (Devontae Booker) 9 Raiders (Marshawn Lynch and Doug Martin) 10 Dolphins (Frank Gore) 11 Pats (Sony Michel) 12 Redskins There are a lot of teams there who could easily take Guice. Now I don't love the idea of trading up, but next year we're going to have a lot of compensatory picks. If we trade away a pick next year to do it, I might be OK with it. |

Which I'm ok with if you don't reach and get value for your picks. |

Would you try to trade for Cleveland's first pick in the second round, and give them our 4th and one of our 5ths? It's the right value, I don't know if they would take it. I imagine the first pick of the 2nd round has a bit of exaggerated value as teams reshuffle their boards. edit: actually that value is for their second pick, the one after the Giants... |
Re: Day 2 thread: rounds 2-3
I think I'd rather have more swings of the bat. I'd sit tight and take Guice if he's there. If he's not I'd take one of the very good interior offensive linemen or Ronald Jones.

noooooooo, they need a starting guard, a starting RB, a starting CB, and help just about everywhere. That is the type of move you make if you are 1 player away from being a league champion. |

I really hope they stick with the defense. I'd be happy with Harold Landry, Maurice Hurst, Josh Jackson, Ronnie Harrison, Justin Reid...but I won't hate it if they take Will Hernandez if he's available, or a top 5-6 RB in Guice, Chubb, or Jones, but I think they can find a good RB tomorrow too.
