Less than 10 hours to kickoff, figured we needed a fresh thread after that long week of dead horse beating !

Good news: [URL="https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2018/08/24/trent-williams-to-get-back-on-the-field-tonight/"]Trent Williams will be playing tonight[/URL] !

[U]What do you guys expect to see ?[/U]

Should be our first chance to see [U]Alex Smith have significant playing time[/U], I'll admit I'm quite excited !

I also think it will be a really [U]good test for our defense[/U], not the best offense in the league but the Broncos do have some weapons, good team to have a dress rehearsal against IMO.

Obviously all eyes will be on our starters and our offense, which better improve it's [U]Redzone efficiency[/U] this week, but I also hope [U]Moreau and Stroman[/U] both have a really good game !

Treating this like a regular season game (that I'm forced to record). Turning off my phone this afternoon and waking up at ass crack of dawn to watch replay on NFL Network. I'd love to see a Smith to Doctson TD tonight and Peterson to rush for 500 yards lol.

I'm currently in San Diego too. Are they replaying the game on NFLN?

Whether it's Kelly, Keenum or Lynch playing QB tonight for the Broncos our D-Line should be hassling him.

This might be the first time ever that the Defensive Line is the position group I find most exciting to watch. I wanna see them tear it up!

And no injuries, obviously.

Edit: To add, It's awesome seeing the ENTIRE D-Line play at a high level. It really excites me and has me watching that unit throughout the entire game.

Starters are in? Great, lets see Allen and Payne team up with IO next to them.
Subs coming in? Again Great! Lets see what a fresh Ziggy Hood can do with Big Boy Settle holding down the middle.
Another Sub? Still Great! Lanier should be ready to go throw somebody around by now.

The 1st team needs solid reps including Jordan Reed.

I would rather have a bunch of scared punk as bitches tear their ACLs than go into week 1 unprepared again.

F JAY GRUDEN and his soft ass way of coaching.
Hue Jackson, Marvin Lewis and Gruden, FU! bunch of soft ass bitches.
They will all be fired at the end of the year.

I'm tired of worrying about injuries. We need to get some grown ass men that aren't afraid to play full contact football.

Injuries have nothing to do with coaching? These are professional athletes putting everything they have into every play, stuff happens.

And I have a hard time seeing Jay fired at the end of the year. Unless the team totally collapses and he loses the locker room, which seems to be stronger than ever ATM.

Don't know what to think about it... He doesn't need preseasons reps, but the whole offense benefits from preseasons reps with TW.

We want Alex Smith to develop chemistry with the receivers at real game speed, but we don't want him doing that with Geron Christian or TJ Clemmings at LT...

The running game also needs to get going.
