Re: Dallas Post-Game Thread
Thank god for the defense. Oline played great and Adrian Peterson is our mvp.
|
Re: Dallas Post-Game Thread
Positives:
DL OL Peterson Bibbs Swearinger P. Smith Kerrigan Z. Brown Anderson Way Doctson Negatives: Alex (Trent Dilfer) Smith Prevent defense that allowed Prescott to run at will and eventually score |
Re: Dallas Post-Game Thread
I thought the Oline played its best game since opening week versus Arizona. Luavo back at lg was a positive. They really held their own against a solid front 7.

Re: Dallas Post-Game Thread
It's like a broken record w/ this team and it's a reflection on Gruden and partly Manusky. We have lost games like this, luckily we won this time.

Re: Dallas Post-Game Thread
Just thankful for the win! Any win against the Cowboys I don’t give a shit how ugly it is!
I see a lot of bitching about Smith and the Redskins for signing Smith, but it is what it is. Smith had a career year last year, I don’t blame the Redskins for trading for him, but there’s no doubt he’s not playing like he did last year, not even close,He missed easy throws today and cost us at least one touchdown |
Re: Dallas Post-Game Thread
I'll take an ugly win over a pretty loss any day of the week and twice on Sunday. Tons of things to improve, but I'll savor this for the next couple of hours #HTTR

It's hard watching him play QB. The only good thing he is doing right now is not turning the ball over. I guess that is what they want. Prescott's turnover basically was the difference in the game. |

I guess it could be worse, he could be Blake Bortles. |

:laughing- Big ups to the big uglys up front...zeke didn’t do shit this game. Payne, Zach b, and Allen bottle him up. Swearinger defense MVP |
Re: Dallas Post-Game Thread
Remember that dallas' defense was the 4th ranked d, 2nd in pts allowed. The offense struggled and AS made a bonehead play at the end, but we also won ugly, certainly something we havent always done.

Re: Dallas Post-Game Thread
To all the people bitching about the QB play:
With our D, I'll take average QB play that doesn't create game killing situations and can give us a chance to win. I think there is room for improvement, which I feel can happen with time. You can have good QB play and gaudy numbers, but if that doesn't translate to W's, it doesn't mean shit. It's plain and simple. I think everyone on the offense needs to improve, the drop off in WR talent after PRich and Crowder, is ridiculous. Alex, needs to get off whatever funk he's been. And I think Gruden needs to just call better plays. |
Re: Dallas Post-Game Thread
This game was very much like the old time Dallas-Washington games. Hard fought, undecided down to the last tick of the clock, and turning on a big play by one team or the other. This time it was a defensive TD by our team. It was a fun game to watch.

Re: Dallas Post-Game Thread
I don’t care how ugly it was that was an awesome win!

Re: Dallas Post-Game Thread
Positives: we beat Dallas !
Negatives: Seriously?! Save those for tomorrow, we just beat Dallas! HTTR ! |

Re: Dallas Post-Game Thread
It was an ugly win but still a win. 4-2 and leading the NFC East after 7 weeks. D looks good, especially the run d. Held Zek to 33 yards. Jay schemed people open all day and Smith just missed them.
Smith looks hurt to me. His legs do not seem right. He looked as slow as a manning. He missed a wide open Sprinkle. He air mailed the pass in the end zone. It does not seem like he has his base when throwing. The o-line was back together and played well. AP was incredible, but you can tell he doesn't have the break away speed. Reed is our best weapon and he has four targets. |

Philly losing put a cherry on top of our win. No win is an ugly win as long as there are no beautiful losses. You may quote on that. |
Re: Dallas Post-Game Thread
We left a lot on the field and still won.

Re: Dallas Post-Game Thread
Trent Williams asked what he was thinking when the last-second Dallas field goal smacked the crossbar: “You really want to know what I was thinking? I was thinking about Rich [Tandler], man.” #Redskins
Fuck yeah. Skins also gave the game ball to rich tandlers wife. Nice RIP Rich |

QB play needs to improve quickly, we have been lucky in 3 wins this season. |
Re: Dallas Post-Game Thread
Very classy move by the Redskins. RIP RT.

We can’t forget that we’ve been without Thompson and Crowder the last two weeks, and Richardson today. Getting those guys back will help.

Re: Dallas Post-Game Thread
I feel like the offense is close to having a breakout game. A few of the passes to our WRs were just long (better than too short) and with better speed in PRich and Crowder, they’re probably catches. It just feels like we are close to clicking on the longer routes which, once it happens, will open the running lanes even more for AD (man, you have to love his passion for the game). A few guys come back healthy next week, I hope.
Man, besting those Dallassholes is so sweet. Have a nice flight back, fellas. I hope that “doink” resonates inside your heads the whole way back to that soulless, crap city and that you have to face the jowly glare of that Emperor Palpatine clone of an owner there for the rest of the week. Probably our top 3 receivers...big help. Nice to overcome and get the win today |

The cowboys are hanging out in DC according to Nance and Romo during the game. |

Oh that’s right. They have a bye and we’re going to tour some monuments. I authorize those of you in DC to find where they are and heckle them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Re: Dallas Post-Game Thread
It was ugly again on Offense but like I have been saying, that is the 2018 Redskins. Run first , score low PPG and win with good Defense. No turnovers today. Alex is a great game manager , we are 4-2 and beat dallas finally. I can't bitch about anything right now httr

PRich is our top receiver and seems to have the best connection with Smith. I think not having him was pretty big, so was not having Crowder (although I think he is hurt the worst out of all the injured offensive players). |
also we won without our best DB
You know, that’s an excellent point. Not sure Dunbar falls for the hitch that freed up Gallup. That plus a few Dak runs was most of the Dallas offense today. Our D is so improved, even with the occasional painful breakdown. But too much is asked of them. We need the offense to start clicking. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Outside of Norman the secondary is young.
