Zach Brown's crying
Brown #53 is yet another disgruntled player complaining saying he wants to be elsewhere next season.....He signed a 3 year deal in the offseason and has 2 years remaining on his deal....should the Redskins simply release him or trade him for another player or/and draft pick ?

Re: Zach Brown's crying
If you're gonna put an enticing title like that on a post at least back it up with a link. Wanted to know whether this was something new or if this was about his bitching from being benched from a couple days ago.
The obvious answer is he's gonna be gone. Obviously he's not thrilled about being benched, and knows the scapegoat of him not practicing during the week is weak AF when they just don't want to say he was benched for performance reasons. Also in order to trade someone they need to have value. A benched linebacker with 2 years left on his deal that was benched for crappy performance is not going to have much value. |

Re: Zach Brown's crying
Brown, Foster and Norman gots to go, maybe even DJ. Too much talking and not enough production, if Reuben Foster is cleared and stays clean, he would be an upgrade over both of them.

Well we better have something like 44 draft picks and one hell of a free agency if we're going to cut every body... I mean I get the frustration at people who talked too much, but IMO when it's that many people it reflects badly on the coaching staff. Zach Brown is one of the better ILB in the league, and he improved his coverage skills this season. I like Foster quite a lot despite his lack of speed (as a player). Norman is having a solid season. And we all know what DJ can do. Now, they all had some off games this year, as did every body on this roster... which, again, reflects badly on the coaches. Let's not get rid of all the talent because of a derailing season. I'm all for the fresh start. Find a new HC, maybe a new GM, have a good offseason and see what this roster can do with less injuries, better coaching and full motivation! |

Totally agree. All those crybabies need to go. This team still has a shot a the playoffs and these bums are crying, gimme a break. This team need an attitude change and get rid of the chronic complainers and injured. They aren't helping so bring in players who will. |

Haven't study next year's cap situation yet, but I'm not sure a new staff would want to do that. I think Jay needs to go because of his inability to coach, get the guys ready, and do any kind of in games adjustments. But, take away the QB mess and I don't think the roster choices in the recent past have been bad. We're building up from the trenches and with a good offseason I think a capable coaching staff could come in and have good results quite quickly. |
Re: Zach Brown's crying
Too many soft MF'ers on this team. Upset about your playing time? Talk to your coach. Better yet man up, ball out, and make yourself irreplaceable.

This is Foster’s second incident, Brown hasn’t been the player he was last year, Norman is overpaid and DJ has diarrhea of the mouth. Maybe a new coaching regime can help? |

Rod Marrinelli makes his defenders earn the privilege of playing every week of practice. He has first rounders at or near the top of the depth chart watching games from the sideline. No effort=no play If they are not working hard at practice and the guy behind them is balling out at practice, the guy behind them gets the Sunday snaps. |

Agree. Unfortunately I am starting to think the team's soft nature is reflective of the tone their head coach sets. Club Jay is a real phenomenon. |
Re: Zach Brown's crying
I don't even care anymore. This team blows. Like I said I'm already looking at 2019.

For real, this sounds like a lot of entitled players who expect top-notch accolades for sub-par performance. |
Zach Brown's crying
This is why I’m hoping for a new HC along the lines of Gregg Williams. This team needs a serious attitude overhaul. Fuckers whining about putting on pads in practice, bitching about playing time, get the F outta here

But this is a Redskins board, and rn I want to wallow in the pit of misery with my fellow Skins fans. Marinelli can lick my taint and so can the Cowboys. |

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
What this team needs is a defensive oriented HC that will instill discipline and toughness into this team....someone like Dennis Allen or Vic Fangio.... But the organization first must fire everyone in that front office except Eric Shaffer and Doug Williams so they will get the right players... |

Re: Zach Brown's crying
How to guarantee your team is not tough: have your 2 ILBs be the biggest pansies on the team.
To quote another ILB: Can't win with em. |

That's who I want. Put dicks in the dirt and find an OC. |

3 things in this life are true: death, taxes, and the Cowboys can go fuck themselves.

Re: Zach Brown's crying
Not only do we need a culture change, but we need an attitude adjustment. These guys don't sound like professionals. They sound like a bunch of whiny kids out on the playground. Spoiled millionaires.
It all starts at the top. From ownership down. |

What has he done? CB coach, not a DC or OC. |

He's young and has been part of staffs with good defenses. |

Rather have LaFleur, Waldron or Shaw. |
Re: Zach Brown's crying
Rather have LaFleur, Waldron or Shaw.
I always heard that Lafleur didn't wow anybody when he was here.
I didn't hear anything negative about him, just that he wasn't necessarily a savant or prodigy. I can't link to anything because it was on sports talk radio but they were talking to the guys who covered the team closely. Take it for what it's worth (probably nothing), but I would not predict a LaFleur hire. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk |

I think what a lot of the bad that is happening is terrible leadership in the coaching, front office and ownership. The players should not be blamed. |
