It's that time of year folks!

Combine and Draft shortly after, I love it.

Steve Keim sounded less emphatic about Rosen. Asked if he’s the QB, GM responded “he is, right now”

Per Kevin Patra.

I still believe there is a legit chance the Cards trade Rosen and draft Murray.

Leveon Bell, Nick Foles, Honey Badger, Suh, Barr.....

This is going to be the most intriguing free agency season we have seen in a long time. Stoked to see where things are when the smoke clears.

Kyler Murray will not throw at the combine, waiting for his pro day.

I think this is a bad look for him but o well.

But what move will be made that will turn a team around, or get them over the hump? Does Nick Foles get the Jags back to the playoffs, would Leveon Bell be what the Jets need right now, Antonio Brown in SF make them legit? Will any of these "big" free agents really make a difference on a new team...because more often than not, they don't. Barring injury...I'm gonna say Murray is going to be the biggest difference maker next season on whatever team he lands. Not gonna say he's the next Mahomes, but he'll go to a bad team, and they will be noticeably better...like the Browns this season.

Murray will be the first QB off the board, and more and more I'm buying into the idea he'll go #1 overall and the Cards will trade Rosen.

If the Cards take Murray then it will be interesting to see what we do regarding Rosen. Other teams could compete for him cause he's on a rookie deal. I'm thinking the Jags and the Giants would maybe want him. The more I think about it the more Murray makes sense to the Cards.

Really?? I did not see much of his play last year but I didn't hear a lot of good things and obviously their offense was bad. And David Johnson was more or less healthy all year too right?

I'm glad to see people are coming around to my Rosen trade-up suggestion from last year ;)

But this may work out better since we can have both Payne and Rosen.

Cooley is going to do a film breakdown of Rosen to see how he stacks up with this QB class. He called Murray a "little Mahomes".

From the games I watched , he was pretty good. He had no help on the OL and his WR's were average. Fitz is not the old Fitz. I'm also open to taking BPA at 15 and drafting Grier in the 2nd.

Here's a thought, and I'm only going by what I've read not having seen these guys:

Dillard has shown well at the combine thus far, but is projected as a starter at LT.
Ford is projected as a starter at G (and boy do we need a LG).

What about selling the line we like Dillard at 15, trade the pick in for another 1st and a 2nd/3rd (mocks have Browns slated to take Dillard at 17, Texans at 23 and maybe Hawks looking to fix their poor OL at 21), then we could take Jones if still available after the trade down and/or BPA (Ford?) later in the 1st. If we could get Jones and Ford (I know its a big if) we could fix 2 spots almost for the price of 1. And then draft BPA for other needs (WR, DB and MLB) with the rest of our picks.

And if Jones is gone, pick up Rypien with a later pick freeing up a higher pick to maybe get another OL/high need.

Rumor is Murray is going to AZ, per Sports illustrated. So Rosen definitely on the market.

Anyone been following Cooley's podcasts?

He says Lock is top shelf and Jones also has the qualities which translate to the NFL more that the others.

Murray is basically in his own special category and we have no shot at him short of an RG3 like trade.

It's an interesting listen.

I love Cooley but the whole time I couldn't help wondering if the team was in hot pursuit of Lock and this was propaganda selling it.

NFL network is reporting the Redskins and Cards have talked at the combine about Rosen. Folks Murray is definitely going number 1 now. You don't openly shop your QB like that. Rumor is the skins don't want to give up the #15 pick which is a great thing for us and actually smart bargaining

I honestly dont get the love for Rosen, I never thought he was that good. I'd rather draft a QB in this draft.

Rosen has great potential, he's smart as hell and accurate. Arm is solid not great, mcshay said he would be the 2nd QB in this draft on Sirius XM NFL .

Again, I’d rather roll with the draft than invest $$ in a position where we are already very committed. Draft a future QB and OL, S, LB, and WR. 2019 will be tough but that fate was sealed when Alex went down.

Nobody knows for sure if a drafted player will be good or not. But OSU QB Haskins looks not very prepared for this. He has a noticeable spare tire around his waist and looks very slow. How can he show up to this incredibly important job interview in this kind of shape? Does he not care? Couldn’t he have hired a trainer and worked hard to be in shape at the combine? It not like OSU school work for football players is tough. Smells like bust? Not a hard worker?

AMEN!
No more injury prone players or players coming back from an injury. Not one of those injured players we drafted over the last 4 or 5 made the team. I don’t care if they are a bargain where they are drafted. We have been burned enough with these so called bargains.
