Around the NFL: Training Camp 2019 edition
Let's start with this.
https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/27248889/jags-ramsey-arrives-camp-armored-truck I think Ramsey is a talented corner, but this entrance is garbage. He needs some new advisors because he looks like a clown right now. |

Good quote here: "Im gonna ask for so much money, they have to put me on lay-away."
Sends the wrong message, he's not concerned with team goals, only about making sure he gets the biggest contract. |

Zeke wants the most RB $ of all time... Per NFLN. Geez
|
Re: Around the NFL: Training Camp 2019 edition
This is the reason why the Patriots are going to be contenders every single year and something no other team can replicate:
The Patriots do not have to pay their best/most important player (Brady) what they are actually worth. I know there are a lot of other things they do right, and having a future HoF coach helps a ton of course (duh). But, they never have to deal with this. I'm sure they've dealt with other players wanting to get paid, but never their most important player. |

I don't blame him for wanting that, after all he is the engine for Cowboys offense. |

Golden Tate appealing four-game PED suspension Wow Giants receivers getting crushed
???...what do you mean? One went down for the season ,Tate will be fine as will Shepard . They had twelve camp bodies now eleven, others seem more concerned about it than the Giants do. chico that bias thing again, you should really see someone about that. |

He has a hairline fracture of the tip of his thumb ,he'll be fine for game one ,Coleman is done but we have some nice young rookies that should do well. Eric Flowers isn't a Giant any more ........Eli is fine. |

FYI - Colts WR Robert Mathis in 2013 and Texans LB Brian Cushing in 2012 were suspened for 4 games for exactly the same thing. They used the same excuse as Tate years earlier and their suspension stood. Reason is, it is widely known in the PED world that PED users will use male fertility drug to help restart natural testosterone production and can mitigate the side effects of ending a cycle of PED's. Plus Tate is not so likable. |

Yeah that whole "you are responsible for what you're putting in your body" part of the rule can be a real motherfucker. Sucks to suck I guess. |

Terrible look for Robert Nkemdiche here. Most of the time when guys show up out-of-shape, the coach will crack the whip a bit and give them time. Kingsbury basically said he's not worth the effort. |

I know we're stack at DL, but Nkemdiche was very promising early in his career, and he's not in a position to negotiate so maybe we can get high quality depth on the cheap ? |

Frenchie I like you man, but I think the idea of bringing in a first round pick who was cut at the start of training camp for being soooo overweight (at the start of the season that's going to make or break his career as he was supposed to hit FA next year) is the worst idea I've heard in a while. He's not high-quality depth, if he's this unmotivated going into his 4th year I bet he won't last 6. |

Haha I hear you, I just think a work out could allow you to know if he's that out of shape or if part it was dissensions between the Cards and him... Plus I think part of it is I'm just curious to see where he's at, I remember picking him up in a dynasty IDP league after seeing some nice flashes. |

Re: Around the NFL: Training Camp 2019 edition
I Know the Chiefs are the media darling with Cleveland right behind but there is just no way a team that starts the following at CB can be that good.
LCB = Breeland RCB = Tremon Smith SLCB = Fuller YIKES!! Also lost Keith Reaser today with an achilles |
Re: Around the NFL: Training Camp 2019 edition
We already knew this Top 100 was a joke, more of a popularity contest than a talent ranking... but still...
TW N°81 and Jared Goff N°32 ? Da F ? Jarvis Landry N°84 and Baker Mayfield N°50 ? Really ? Maybe they should do a separate QB list because this seems to be far more biased than the other positions, am I wrong ? |

I seriously doubt Club Jay is the place to go if you need discipline instilled in you to maintain a reasonable condition during the off season. I don't understand these athletes that let themselves go to crap during the off season. During the off season working out a couple hours 4-5 days a week and not over eating or drinking too many empty calories can maintain reasonable condition. How hard is that? If you are an athlete your body is how you earn a living, it should be your #1 priority. |

Counting the play-offs they gave up over 30 points a half dozen times. Most fans love offense and don't care about defense so for most Chief games are fun to watch. As for the Browns we will see. I think they are over hyped because they were bad for so long and look to be finally turning things around. |

Fuller is actually a good player, the rest of the defense blows cheese puff chunks, still upset we traded Fuller because it felt like he was on the cusp of getting into that next tier, but I will have to sulk on that one. |

Cleveland fans are so damn loyal, they have earned the right to have a winner. I'll be pulling for the Browns this year. Give me Browns vs. Chargers for the AFC title game.

Re: Around the NFL: Training Camp 2019 edition
The record breaking $100M deal that WR Michael Thomas & the Saints have agreed to includes $61M in New Guaranteed Money, which is the most in NFL history for a Non-QB offensive player. This massive extension was negotiated by
@DavidMulugheta and Andrew Kessler of Athletes First. |
