Redskins v Ravens PS WK 4
Thanks god this is the last tune up game.
Haskins 2 Tds tonight in a half |
Re: Redskins v Ravens PS WK 4
No injuries. Prediction some how Jordan Reed will get a concussion while watching the game
|
Re: Redskins v Ravens PS WK 4
I am pissed and the game hasn't even started. I am pissed because Doctson is sitting. I tell you Gruden is going to keep him on this team for some unknown and unfathomable reason!!!!

Spit my Heineken out. So true. Watching Bruce navigate this Trent Williams situation is gonna give me a concussion |
Re: Redskins v Ravens PS WK 4
What the heck is Haskins doing running with the football in a stupid preseason game? He does this a lot we've seen. Please I hope we don't have another RG3 situation.

I think it's more of an indication of our line not being about to block and receivers not getting wide open than it is him.

Re: Redskins v Ravens PS WK 4
Gruden should be throwing every damn down. Instead he keeps running on first down.

Redskins v Ravens PS WK 4
Our run blocking scheme is just atrocious. And our oline depth is awful. Sit Haskins the entire year

I think he's just eager to show something. To see him do that on almost every scramble (i don't think I've seen him run out of bounds yet) is a sign of terrible coaching imo. Nice TD pass and catch. |
Re: Redskins v Ravens PS WK 4
I really hope Holtz makes the team. He’d be a good replacement when VD hangs it up and Reed is injured all the time anyway.

Re: Redskins v Ravens PS WK 4
I can't comprehend our running scheme.
Jay should literally just call the red lobster and ask for help with a zone scheme. The Shanahi have ran the ball with every back and every oline they've ever coached. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk |

I'm really impressed with Dwayne tonight.
Movement, timing, and anticipation. I've never been high on where he was drafted and realize who her is playing against, but this is good stuff. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk |

What's wrong with Clinton Portis? Is he stoned or just a horrible speaker?

Re: Redskins v Ravens PS WK 4
Dwayne's footwork while facing pressure is still bad, has to get better at that

His footwork is weird. Sometimes his feet are right next to each other when he throws the ball, like he's going to shoot a free throw. I've never seen a Qb throw a ball like that. |

the crazy thing is, he has one of if not the best personal QB trainer |

He would really struggle without a strong arm due to his feet often being out of place. |

He seems the same as always, he won't be winning any awards as a sideline reporter. |
Re: Redskins v Ravens PS WK 4
What the hell is with these Pass Interference Calls....that was obviously Defensive Pass Interference and yet they called it on our guy and it has happened several times this pre season.....so the review of this call is Total BS

Re: Redskins v Ravens PS WK 4
Our ST is a real freakin problem, and that has alot to do with HIRING THE WORST ST COORDINATOR IN THE LEAGUE.

I would not judge them until the regular season. Too many guys out there who won't be on the team. |
Re: Redskins v Ravens PS WK 4
McKinzy suffered a concussion and might miss the season opener.

He just needs to play. He needs game reps. He's improving each week and now he has to sit on the bench and watch Case. Smh... |

The number of ST fuck ups is mind numbing. Starters or not. And the guy was in charge of an absolute shit show in Tampa last year. I feel sickly confident that it is another bad hire by Smithers and Burns. |

Re: Redskins v Ravens PS WK 4
With our OL I don't see any chance this team beats Philly or Dallas, the defense would have to play perfect football
How much to want to bet?
If dallas doesn't have Zeke we have a shot, I'm a realist , this OL is not good without Trent, and especially with sorry ass Flowers starting at LG. I hope I'm wrong but I don't see how we beat either team. Again if the D turns into the 2018 Bears forcing all these turnovers then yes we will win |

Re: Redskins v Ravens PS WK 4
I wonder if a tremendous game day like Steve Sims had - a TD catch, and two outstanding Special Teams PR's can get him on the team. Reversely, having an absolute terrible game like Cam Sims, 1 for 7, drooped balls - will that negate an excellent TC and catches in other PS games.
I'd rather keep Steve Sims in the 6 WR group. I'd rather dump Doctson and keep Davis or Kids or yes, even Cam Sims. Doctson will have a mediocre season AGAIN and then will be gone off the team versus keeping a hungry player with a possible future on the team. |

I'm with you! Gruden will keep Doctson thus passing up on new, younger, faster, cheaper and better WR who have much more long-term UPSIDE. If Doctson has a normal year for him, the team still releases him at the end of the season. If he has a really good year (highly unlikely) another team will pick him ups. Either way he is gone. I'd rather take a chance on Steve Sims or Davis who could have breakout years and/or breath fire in our ST. |

How do they stack up in practices, do they stay late knowing they're on the bubble, are they putting in all of the work possible to get better? How well do they take direction in meetings? Combine all that with the in-game footage. All we hear is Cam Sims had a great camp, but he hasn't flashed at all in games yet. Vice versa for Steven Sims. It's a toss up at this point. |
Re: Redskins v Ravens PS WK 4
They'll keep Doc simply because he's still one the their better wr's and he's a 1st rounder. Jay is in win now mode so he's not going to throw out a bunch of guys with no experience. Doc IMO will be on the team. Look at how long Quick has been hanging around.
