Skins - Niners Pre Game
https://twitter.com/i/status/1184588812527243270
I'm sure most have seen by now but Kyle adding some fuel to this game.. As a fan of this dysfunction I can't be mad at Kyle for taking shots, he is right on with Bruce and Dan. He will want to beat the skins by 40 Sunday but I don't see that happening. SF 24 WAS 17 |
Re: Skins - Niners Pre Game
You DONT see them beating us by 40? Those rose colored glasses must be nice to look through.
Skins 10 Niners 52 |
Re: Skins - Niners Pre Game
Lil Shanny is about to remind dan and Bruce about another series of blunders they made...
Lil Shannies 47 Dan and Bruces 17 Take the over and San Fran with the points |
Re: Skins - Niners Pre Game
Skins D actually matches up with the niners O pretty well, if our DL comes to play we could force some punts. Our O sucks tho so that will bite us in the end
|
Re: Skins - Niners Pre Game
Fuck little Shanny, his daddy and the forty whinners. The Redskins D-line if they play to their potential and actually D has the same talent as them, they have better LB’s. Offense is were they are better, QB, TE and running game, they are playing with backup Tackles (Staley, McGlintchy are out)Should be interesting depending on how the Redskins play.

Yeah against this defense I'd be surprised if we scored more than 6 points by the start of the 4th quarter. By that time we'll be down by 17 or more, and they'll ease up and let us have a garbage time TD as they keep everything in front of them and grind out the clock. 27 - 13, SF |
Re: Skins - Niners Pre Game
I’m not really impressed with jimmy g...but I think their defense is legit.
It’s gonna be another game where we don’t give our defense a break and eventually their running game will open up the line like a can opener. |
Re: Skins - Niners Pre Game
I keep waiting for the day Manusky has a little baby stroke and totally changes his defensive philosophy, but I don't think this week is that week.
|
Re: Skins - Niners Pre Game
Collins could have a long day vs Kittle like he did last year. I’m sure Kyle will want to exploit that matchup like last year when Kittle ate him up.

Re: Skins - Niners Pre Game
49ERS 31
REDSKINS 10 I have a feeling I will quickly be away from the TV and listening to the radio in my shop. |

Re: Skins - Niners Pre Game
Niners WRs don't scare me, Kittle does though. Terry could have another solid game , Sherman never does well against speed , I'd expect SF to play more zone

Actually they have some solid under the radar WR’s, Samuel (rookie), Pettis, Bourne, Goodwin, James. They are quick and shifty. |
Re: Skins - Niners Pre Game
49ers are going to pound us all day on the ground
I can also see someone like Goodwin torching us deep |
Re: Skins - Niners Pre Game
It'll probably be the Breida / Coleman / Kittle show. Have to find a way to keep them out of the endzone - force FG attempts, get a couple turnovers, and maybe even a ST score.

Sorry but what guy on our D is as good as Bosa? Their d just held the Rams to under 200 yards of offense. We could never do that against anyone, non the less the Rams. |

Like I said, the talent is there playing to their potential and defense scheme is not there. Allen, Payne, Ionnadis, Settle, Hester, Kerrigan, Sweat are supposed to be studs, I think the coaching and scheme is robbing their talent. Preston Smith is an example. |

Manusky does suck but at what point do you have some pride and not let Fitzpatrick abuse you? Two years in a row Fitz has crushed this defense. |
Re: Skins - Niners Pre Game
Speaking of 49ers, in a reverse of typical fortune a healthy Pierre Garcon went to San Francisco to become injury plagued and is now out of football.

Niners are stacked on D. Bosa, Buckner, Armstead, Thomas, Ford, Blair III, DJ Jones, Day, all are solid Dlineman. Their young LB’s are quick and aggressive, Alexander, Warner, Greenlaw and others. DB’s are pretty good too. |

I don't know that it was a pride thing. I didn't go back and verify this, but BMitch was saying that the defense backed off towards the end of the 3rd quarter/4th quarter, and Fitz took advantage of that. If that's the case, it was on Manusky - for not sticking with what was working. This is nothing new for Fitzpatrick either. Sometimes he can be straight garbage, but there have been several games in the past where he has come in out of nowhere and lit it up...that's where he got his nick - FitzMagic. |

Kyle is gonna crush us and nothing would make me happier.

Re: Skins - Niners Pre Game
At worst /Least, Redskins can cover. This is a Shanahan coaching tree philosophy game. Similar ideas on the sidelines. Closer than you think.
The Haskins Card is still on the table |
Re: Skins - Niners Pre Game
Why would a fan want their team to get crushed. Do you think its going to change Dans way of thinking if nothing has to this point?
|
Re: Skins - Niners Pre Game
Looks like Craig Reynolds will be playing instead of Thompson at RB. I like that kid.

I do, I think that a 1 or 2 win season, combined w/ the national and local media piling on will force him to do something drastic. |

Adding to this, a lot of people around the organization thought they were "close"; Just a few less injuries last year and they might have made a run. If they finish with 2 or 3 wins then it's time to blow shit up and address issues with the roster. |
Re: Skins - Niners Pre Game
West coast team coming east for a 1pm game. I think we've got a chance for the upset.

Niners 23 Skins 17
Did you add an extra zero? I have never seen odds to win a Super Bowl that high, granted I haven't bet the NFL in a couple years but +25000? I used to bet in Laughlin Nevada and later with a friend offshore and never saw odds that high. Even if the team wasn't eliminated they would get taken off the board if they had to go that high to attract action. |

Re: Skins - Niners Pre Game
I think Son of Red Lobster will try to beat us by as many as he can.
I predict onside kicks, fake punts, 2 point attempts and going for it on 4th down, all with SF having a 21 point lead. (I'm only half joking, he hates us) Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk |

Re: Skins - Niners Pre Game
Tress Way is on pace to become the first All Pro in the Dan Snyder era... Sadly enough the last all pro (first team) for the redskins was Matt Turk also a Punter in 1996.

Re: Skins - Niners Pre Game
Facing Kyle on Sunday and then Kurt on Thursday this is like the beginning of Bruce Allen Revenge Week. Perhaps Jay could get a quick job with the Bills and we could fit him in before the bye?

I officially change my position. Kyle will try every way possible, except an onside kick, to embarrass and humiliate the Redskins Sunday. I unreservedly apologize for throwing out such an ill conceived opinion. |
Re: Skins - Niners Pre Game
We gonna get crushed. I'll still watch every snap of it. But I'll be waiting for the start of Ravens @ Seahawks.
This is pre-season to me. Not learning anything beside flawed individual evaluation. |
Re: Skins - Niners Pre Game
You guys are forgetting. The Redskins coaching philosophy is the same as Niners now. It's Shanahan coaching tree game. This may be the game / the turn around, that I thought the Pats game was supposed to be.
