I've always loved this site. Love it even more due to the situation we're all in. Y'all are my connection to the outside world right now. I'm refreshing this site like a sum' bitch.

Lots of good stuff and varieties of opinions here.

Everyone feel free to uptake the quantity of posts! Quality isn't a requirement right now. Quality is on furlough.

Hope everyone is doing as well as possible.

Look I’ve always wanted a mother daughter combo at the same time.....it’s something to strive for, part of the American Dream....I’d take Sarah Palin and her daughter all day over the Clintons if we are going political sandwiches.

SD - I used to live in San Diego .. miss it so much. Bankers Hill, PB, UTC\ la jolla, cardiff by the sea and North Park.

Are you not allowed to get in your car and drive? Right about now is when the desert mountains create natural springs and streams. You need to know where to go and how to find them but once you do .. its a freaking oasis. Its about a 1-2 hour drive from SD, out near that small town famous for apple pies .. Julian.

its like a scene from an 80's Busch beer commercial. crystal clear water, jumping off rock edges into the water, bring your dog ... beers chillin in the water on a string ...

and then, as soon as they appeared, they disappear and dry up in a matter of weeks.

^^^ I think this is a permanent desert stream but this is what it looks like. I went with some real natives and we explored and found some amazing isolated streams.

No we're on stay home orders. Basically can only go to work or grocery store. Even that's discouraged. There are still people out. Doubt i would get pulled over but not risking it.

I used to get baked out of my mind then drive my mercedes through the desert .... that was living. Now, living the typical east coast suburban dad life, its just isolated rays of sunshine on an otherwise cloudy day. Rush hour, bills and client phone calls.

I wake up to the sound of a client text 3 days out of the week.

I still love all you guys/gals. Fast forward almost a year, and COVID still has an anchor tied to all of us. Talking about myself only, I thought there was no chance we'd still be where we are.

I've always used the internet a lot, but this past year or so, it's been upgraded. With things being closed, and most of buckling up on our human interactions, this site has been such a blessing. I need an olive branch to the outside world.

I hope everyone has been OK since COVID has changed our world. Prayers out to all of you and your families.

I just noticed my total posts. Seemed like a lot, but there are a lot of you guys that just absolutely take me to the woodshed on posting.

Shout out to all you big boi's that are putting in work here. I stole the term Big Boi from Malcom as I scrolled to the bottom.

On the flip side, there are some folks here that have been here a decade plus, with not many posts at all. Shout out to all y'all too.

It takes all kinds to make a great team site. I think you guys/girls all do that.
