Around the NFL week 11

NFL Power Rankings, Week 11: Raiders, Cardinals rise; Seahawks, Titans exit top 10

This is part of the Bengals narrative in that Power Ranking article:

"Through nine games, the Bengals have told us who they are: They can hang with, and occasionally defeat, middling opponents at or near their level … but they are not in the same weight class as the top teams."

Sound familiar?

Should be an evenly matched game this weekend, unless we finally get 60 minutes out of this defense.

Another tie maybe like Wembley? :banghead::D

TNF is a good matchup

Cards (6-3) v Seahawks (6-3)

May be a wet one

Seahawks 4-0 at home; Line is Sea -3; o/u 57.5

I might throw down my first bet of the season on Seattle -3

skinsfaninok 11-18-2020 10:07 AM

Re: Around the NFL week 11

Yeah finally a great TNF matchup

AnonEmouse 11-18-2020 10:29 AM

Re: Around the NFL week 11

Could make or break Seattle's season, and maybe decide the NFC West division winner. Bit of a difference from the Seahawks starting 5-0 and looking like a dominant O. I actually favour the Cardinals here, as the Seahawks D has got Murray running lane sized holes in it.

Re: Around the NFL week 11

Yeah I'd say RW lost the MVP the last 2 weeks

AnonEmouse 11-18-2020 10:50 AM

Re: Around the NFL week 11

Maybe, but who would you give MVP to right now? Only consistent standout for me has been Murray. Same class?

Chief X_Phackter 11-18-2020 11:24 AM

Re: Around the NFL week 11

Probably a QB since the award has gone to a QB 17 of the last 20 years.

At this point, I probably vote for Mahomes.

27 TDs (25 passing/2 rushing), 2 turnovers (1 INT/1 FUM), 8-1 record.

But there's still 7 more games to go. I wouldn't count out Wilson, Brady, Rodgers, Allen, Roethlisberger, or even Murray.

Mahomes

What about Dalvin Cook? Great personal season on a losing but maybe resurgent Vikings team.

Chief X_Phackter 11-18-2020 12:27 PM

Re: Around the NFL week 11

He's had a real good year, the best RB in the game so far, even with missing a game. But the odds are against him, unless he single handedly drags the Vikings to the playoffs.

skinsfaninok 11-18-2020 12:29 PM

Re: Around the NFL week 11

I just don't see how you don't give it to Mahomes, he's just the best player on the planet right now, there is no game or team he can't win against.

You mean generally or this season, because they lost to the Raiders...

I know what you mean. Like the Chief said, if Cook doesn't drag teh Vikings into the playoffs then its probably Mahomes.

SCOOP: I'm told NY Giants coaches Joe Judge and Marc Colombo got into a fistfight this morning.

Punches thrown. I'm told Colombo got the better of him, and Judge fired him instantly.

Is it just me or is somehow Mahomes a little under the radar? If you redrafted the entire league he'd be the easy #1 pick. Just seems like guys like Wilson and Rodgers get more pub than him and he's been lights out this year.

That's hilarious.

Apparently Judge wanted to hire Dave DeGuglielmo as a consultant and Colombo didn't like the idea - hence the confrontation.

Now he just replaced him....haha

I do agree with that. I'm not sure what more he has to do. I'll bet he's fine with it though.

Gonna say it now, Lamar Jackson is a studio gangster of QBing.

Re: Around the NFL week 11

Bengals aren't winning another game the rest of the season. We won't be picking any higher than #3. They're not picking a QB, but another team can trade up into that spot. Jacksonville can't complete a forward pass. They might not win another game either.

Carson Wentz is not good. Might actually see some Jalen Hurts starts this year.

Carson Wentz looks like garbage. All Eagles fans can officially shut the fuck up about him...plus he never won them a SB.

Dalton's back, that helps explain it. I was worried they were going toe to toe with the Vikings with one of their practice squad qb's starting.

S/N Kirk putting up good numbers today, 21/26, 300 yards 3 td's. Now he just needs the d to help him out.

Edit: Now Kirk just needs to lead the Vikes on a game winning drive. Go earn that contract Captain Kirk.

You hate to see it

Sike, I don't hate to see it at all haha. Congrats to the Giants, only took 11 weeks for people to get tired of Joe Judge insisting the system deserves the credit instead of Brady (idk why you can't give equal credit to both).

The Vikings' defense has been pedestrian for the most part today. Let's hope they can pull this one out and not give the Cowpukes any life going forward.

This sets up a big game on Thanksgiving, which I feared. I had a suspicious feeling the Cowboys might win today. The winner on Thanksgiving will position themselves an opportunity to win the division.

I'm skeptical, he took 6 sacks and it looks like he got hurt on the last one. Maybe Flores just thought he was holding onto the ball too long and didn't have confidence in him to win the game. Either way not sure if affects his long term standing with the franchise.

I don't think it does either. Their HC said he's starting next week. But if I have to read about every game he plays well then we can read about him playing bad too. #chaseyoung

The difference in the way Tua handled the benching was a lot different than Haskins .. watch Tua press conference after game .

Herbert , Burrow and Tua will all be good QB's for a while.

Herbert looks like Josh Allen out there, kid is legit

Dolphins benched tua because he was getting killed. Keeping tua healthy is gonna be a task, gotta have a good back up there

Lol, the Raiders call James Harden which naturally means they aren't passing the ball. Classic.

Damn, this sucks for Burrow and the Bengals. It kinda sounds like the same knee injury RG3 had:
