Dallas week 2.0
As much as I'd actually like having the #3 pick, I hope we beat Dallas on Thanksgiving!
ESPN Picks them to win the East all of the sudden lol SHOCKER. We killed them a few weeks ago and I think our defense will play well back to back weeks. Gibson has 140 total yards and 2tds and gets the Turkey award or whatever it is. WFT 24 DALLAS 20 |
Re: Dallas week 2.0
I think it’s gonna be an entertaining game and could be very close.
Cowboys 30 Skins 27 In OT |
Re: Dallas week 2.0
Dallas wins 1 game = guaranteed division champs
Let's piss on that parade. WFT 23, Dallas 15. |
Re: Dallas week 2.0
I'm glad to hear that Dalton is back and healthy, hopefully we complete the sweep.
Not gonna call a prediction because I think it will be too close to tell, anything can happen. |

Re: Dallas week 2.0
We've only swept Dallas once[1983]and it ain't gonna happen this year...Cowboys 31-WFT 21 and we'll come back down to Earth, something happened at their facility and they didn't practice which might fire them up, I think we're walking into an ambush.

We swept them in 2012 and again in 2005. We will add another sweep this year. |

We have swept them more than that, 2012 the last time by my recollection |

Honestly, I hate to say it, let alone, believe it, but I find myself thinking the same as you. If it's called fairly, we'll win. |

We didn't even sweep the Cowboys in 1983. We lost to them (31-30) in the first game of the season at RFK on MNF after going up 23-3 at the half. Then we beat the brakes off 'em at Dallas as both teams were 11-2 and battling for the NFC East crown and home-field advantage. The Redskins swept Dallas the following season in 1984. Since 1984, we've swept the Cowboys in '87, '95, 2005, and 2012. |

Re: Dallas week 2.0
One interesting note is the team has rushed between the A gap on 34% of their rushing snaps..
That shows the strength of our Guards.. Very impressed with this OL |
Re: Dallas week 2.0
You know what ?
Call me kool aid drinking delusional mofo all you want... but I want us to win this game. I want us to make the playoffs. We are a bad team, and I'm quite disappointed in our defense, I was expecting more from this talent under this coachi by staff. Yes, they've been better, yes they haven't been the reason we lost some of these games. But I think they can do better... and they will need to if we want to win this one. Anyway, I'll take winning the worst division in football history, making the playoffs and actually building a winning culture with a young group of guys, most of whom will be there for several years, over draft position. I was down before last game, and I'm aware we beat a team with a subsubpar back up QB, but this is a year where you can be mediocre AND win this shitty division. Winning on Thursday would get us in a good position to do that. Difficult game, but if our D finally plays a complete 60 minutes game, we have a shot, and I'd like us to take it. None of the WFT OL was lower than 6th in his position group. I think Moses shift from RT to LT was particularly impressive. It is only one week but they have been trending in the right direction for several weeks. |
Re: Dallas week 2.0
IF they win this week, I predict they finish the season 8-8.

I don't see anyone going 8-8 from our division... That would be a complete 180 turn around.. None of these 4 teams have the talent to do that |

I actually think dallass could if they play like they did against the Vikings...the offensive talent they have plus their remaining schedule it's possible. They may even be favored in all their remaining games except Baltimore. |

A question now on the table, is Moses the long term answer at LT? I’d like to see if it could be answered by end of year. The group and play of individuals has risen as the year has gone on...I don’t think it’s a surprise since Martin been benched and Christian has been injured the group has taken another step. The coaching staff deserves a big hand. Interesting to see if Charles and Ismael can contribute next year to the group. |

But if he's turned the corner and has the potential to be that long term solution, then what the hell, why not. I can't help thinking the Cowboys and Steelers will expose him if he isn't that guy. But even if he is, we still need a good RT to replace him. And can we resign all our good OL this offseason without tagging Scherff again? |

Moses had redeemed himself and is playing at a very high level. Schreff has been borderline dominant since he has been back...while I’m not paying him 15 mill per...I’d let him test the market. Schweitzer been really good, Roullier been great and has line call responsibilities...good Charles been given a chance somewhere on the line next year? I just have a really hard time locking up a huge contract for a guard when I see big holes at TE, MLB, WR...possibly LT |
Re: Dallas week 2.0
Go WFT! Beat Dallas!
Also like our chances if game is called fairly. Our defense is better than Dallas. Gibson and Mclaurin are blowing up, and we have respectable qb play now. This would be great to win but my expectations are moderate. |

Yeah I was in that camp. Here’s the thing, he’s 30 and we have a young team with obvious talent with bigger decisions over the next couple years. Is paying a guard position a top 5 guard money the smartest move right now for this team? I get the argument and I’d like to have him back...also is another team gonna give him huge money? I don’t know.. |

We can’t afford to create another hole in the Oline. I would either trade Allen or Payne and resign Settle who to me is a more dominant player than Allen or Payne (look what he’s done in limited play). Bottom sign Scherff and Settle. |

Highest paid is a title that only lasts until the next guy that needs to be paid. Scherff has earned it, by all accounts he's respected, team leader, good player, earned his due. You pay your own. |

I had no idea Terry's numbers stacked up like this.[/QUOTE] I’ve been trying to find my post fro right after we drafted him when I said he will make the trip to Canton some day. He was actually limited by the Ohio State offense and cache of other weapons they had. I saw a series of videos and interviews and the seriousness of purpose and meticulous preparation was like nothing I’ve seen outside of Jerry Rice. Before his first NFL snap. The guy is amazing. And seems a good guy to boot. My new favorite player. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
