NFL Preseason Notes
 

Just starting a new thread for new thread sake.
Just saw Detroit's schedule - they may go 0-16. Only 2 games that are reasonably winnable for them are Eagles and Falcons.

Not very many good backups in the league in general. Why am somewhat happy with our current QB situation, may not be the greatest but the drop off is minimal

Dallas defense though is built inside out, no point in spending on LBs if you have no DTs

Woodside for the Titans looks like a great backup based on performance vs Atlanta (yeah, I know, Falcon’s D sucks).

Yup , the separation from a starter to a back up is pretty wide in the NFL right now.

Glad we can stop hearing about this guy. The hype to performance ratio for Tebow was like nothing I can recall. Let’s get back to discussing actual football players.

I give Tebow credit for giving it a shot, but he was facing very long odds to make a successful position switch at age 34.

Tebow is embarrassing himself. He thinks he can just walk in off the street and be a baseball player or an NFL TE? If he truly wanted to play football he should have put his pride aside and switched to a fullback and special teams player. Perhaps could have carved out a career for himself. That block he threw the other night was so bad and had such bad technique that I feel Meyer said enough is enough. It then turns into a clown show.

I still can not believe that Josh McDaniels drafted him in the first round. For that alone that guy should never even be considered for a head coaching job ever again.

The Texans, Jags and Jets are going to be really bad, maybe just 2-3 wins.

I think The Giants have potential of being bad too. Depends on Danny Dimes but there has been a bunch of chatter that they hate Joe Judge

hope these guys arent problems for years to come. Both are under 6" for whatever thats worth

Hurts pulled right before the game due to illness. Eagles look like bird droppings!

The Eagles just got mugged. Not a good look for a rookie coach to have a team shut out, even in preseason. They may be awful this year. I sure hope so.

Davis reaction seems dumb in both directions. obv going to be shaky 1st run out but get better 2nd but neither swallow makes a summer.
