Around the NFL … week 4
Already Thursday afternoon and no one started this thread yet?
Not even with the great game tonight?! Bengals might find themselves as king of the north after this week. Baltimore, Cleveland and Pittsburgh all have challenging games while Bengals get the beer league warpathers tonight |
Re: Around the NFL … week 4
I would def buy low on the Bengals..I like the offensive core they are building there
|
Re: Around the NFL … week 4
Bengals gonna trounce JAX. Bengals defense has been quietly awesome.
I expect to see Bengals score at least 3 touchdowns before halftime, Jax is atrocious all over. |
Re: Around the NFL … week 4
Yeah I’ll check it out but I don’t expect much of a showing from the jags. Meyer will quit soon

Re: Around the NFL … week 4
Turned out to be a pretty fun game. A game like that reminds me of why I don't bet. Cincy seemed like a lock to win big going in.
|
Re: Around the NFL … week 4
Man I love Joe Burrow, he's going to be Elite
|
Re: Around the NFL … week 4
Yeah Burrow is already very good. I was impressed with Lawrence too.
|
Re: Around the NFL … week 4
Yeah Lawrence will be very good as well, I just don't see Meyer lasting
|

That game should remind us all until we get a franchise QB we ain't got shit. |
Re: Around the NFL … week 4
You know your game is a big deal when the Today Show decides to broadcast from your stadium

Re: Around the NFL … week 4
So I was listening to the radio and Kevin Sheehan mentioned that the Dolphins are still interested in Watson. They want to make a trade for him and dump Tua to us for a 2nd rounder.
Knowing what we know now and Tua being off to a bit of a slow start to his career, if this is in fact true to you do it? I say yes. The reason is we need to strengthen the position and the QB class coming out isn't real strong. We shall see how it plays out. But this Watson thing can't continue to drag on and on. |

Re: Around the NFL … week 4
Before his injury. I would have done a two but it would have to be lower now
|
Re: Around the NFL … week 4
Saleh and Zach Wilson gets their 1st win.
Titans missed a FG for the tie. Congrats!! |
Re: Around the NFL … week 4
T.J. Watt swept the leg. Refs picked up the flag. Refs don't know what to do when both teams are NFL royalty.

Re: Around the NFL … week 4
People who like tony romo as an commentator…I just don’t get it. He is knowledgeable but his goofy side comments are half cringe half, eye roll…he really thinks he is a funny guy. He really is just annoying af.

Agreed. He is not entertaining at all and honestly his knowledge gets way too x and o for the casual fans. |
Re: Around the NFL … week 4
It's hard to be a good color commentator. The play-by-play guys go to school for this and gain experience in lesser games before getting the big gigs. The Analyst/Color-Commentator is knowledgeable about football and that's their focus, not always great about the subtle parts of being a great announcer. I think Romo does a pretty damn good job. And I like his Corona commercials as a possible tie breaker.

Re: Around the NFL … week 4
Raplesburger is done. He is missing so many throws.
|
Re: Around the NFL … week 4
Cardinals are beating the shit out of the Rams, on the road.
Thought that was the best game of the week. NFL is a crazy beast. |
Re: Around the NFL … week 4
Omg Harbaugh that is so embarrassing. Nobody gives a shit about your streak. That is awful.

He is actually great in commercials but for some reason that humor doesn’t translate when he is commentating. |

This is just my guessing. But there is a lot of live time and the color guys aren't comfortable with silent time when they think it's their time to talk. So they find filler, and a lot of the filler is not good. Even play by play guys often talk too much. As fans, we don't need words every second of every second of live air time. A little silence is perfectly fine. More is not necessarily better. |
Re: Around the NFL … week 4
Rodney Harrison is a douchebag, Tirico, Brees and Dungy hold their own umbrella while Harrison has someone holding his.

Maybe give the double bird like Eli when the camera is on ya? |

Eli is great. Him and Peyton are just awkwardly hilarious. Good for them. They need to make more millions and millions post NFL-career. Bastards. |
Re: Around the NFL … week 4
The F was Belichick thinking kicking that 56 yarder under the rain with 55 sec left ? Even if he makes it, when has giving the ball back to TB with nearly a minute and 2 time outs been a good idea ?

Probably the lowest percentage option he could have chosen. Even a qb sneak had to have a better chance.

Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
Disappointing, I tuned in late in the 4th quarter, when the Bucs took the lead I thought "wow great story, TB's successor has to do what Brady's has always been great at!" bummer to see it end like that. |

What a cocksucker. |
Re: Around the NFL … week 4
A foot or so to the right and it wouldn't have been the worst decision. And Brady hadn't really done a hell of a lot to that point.
But yeah, leaving that much time on the clock for TB to play with is a bit strange for Belichick. |
What streak?
Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
They have some 100 yards a game rushing streak so with like five seconds left up 23-7 instead of taking a knee he had Lamar run the ball to keep the streak alive. They needed like 4 yards. Not that I want to see anyone get hurt but if he had it would have been a really bad look for Harbaugh. He is lucky and a jerk. |

Re: Around the NFL … week 4
It was pretty dumb move by Harbaugh. So stupid
