Around the NFL 2022: Offseason edition
Let's start the offseason with this bit of news:
https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/33231841/dallas-cowboys-paid-24-million-settle-cheerleaders-voyeurism-allegations How convenient that Rich Dalrymple retired just before this story broke. Also the balls on him to try and get some upskirt photos of the owner's daughter. |

It may have been either in Keim's or Andrew Brandt's podcast where they point out that Richardson was pressured to sell, but was not voted out by the league. |

I will believe it is possible for NFL to make positive changes, only when I see the owners no longer hold the major power within NFL. |
Re: Around the NFL 2022: Offseason edition
Wake me up when he actually steps down, until then I'm paying very little attention to all of this. It's just noise until something really happens, which it probably won't.
|
Re: Around the NFL 2022: Offseason edition
Yeah I haven't read one article on it.. Who cares
|
Re: Around the NFL 2022: Offseason edition
Idk Snyder can’t use the oblivious idiot excuse this time. Up until this there was basically no chance he would sell or be forced to sell. Now it feels like a 50/50 to me.

It's the same reason I didn't immediately start gloating about it - it's the pot calling the kettle black. We tolerate Snyder and his insanely long list of transgressions - it's hard to laugh at other team's misfortunes now. |
Re: Around the NFL 2022: Offseason edition
I've been all over the Cowboys fans who were all over me about our issues.
And I gotta say ..... It's felt glorious. F the Cowboys. |
Re: Around the NFL 2022: Offseason edition
The Bucs want RW also.

They have no cap space. Watson is also said to want to go to either the Bucs or Vikings. Vikes don't have cap space either. |
Re: Around the NFL 2022: Offseason edition
After the Rams did what they did , I don’t really buy the Cap stuff anymore. Teams find ways around it

No Owner will go against Jerry Jones becuase if you do it to Dan you will have to do it to Jerry , and that ain't going to happen. |
Re: Around the NFL 2022: Offseason edition
There was a tweet out there that we're trying to trade for Jordan Love...
Lol |

I bet if you look hard enough, you'll find a Commander's connection to every potentially available QB.

@Schultz_Report #TakeCommand #NFL Washington sees him as an elite piece of the foundation for the team. |

Re: Around the NFL 2022: Offseason edition
@RapSheet
The #Packers and MVP QB Aaron Rodgers have agreed to terms on a 4-year, $200M deal that makes him the highest paid player in NFL history, sources say. He gets a whopping $153M guaranteed and his cap number goes down. A monstrous commitment by GB for years to come. |

Makes no sense to have a young 1st round QB riding the bench. |

I wouldn't think so. He's been in their system for two years now, and on a rookie contract for another 2-3 years. Unless they just have no faith in him, there's really no good reason to start over with AR's backup. Sucks for him though. |
Re: Around the NFL 2022: Offseason edition
The NFL Salary cap increased by $25.6m for 2022.
This is exceptionally good news for teams that already had good cap space, like the Washington @Commanders |

What has he done though. Is there a real demand for Jordan Love at this point? |
Re: Around the NFL 2022: Offseason edition
Dak is going to restructure his deal LOLOL Jerry fucked him over already what a clown show

I don't know if he has done much, but if I'm GB I'm putting him on the trade block. But if there's a demand for Trubisky, Mariota, Teddy B., etc, etc., I'm sure there's a demand for Jordan Love. |
Re: Around the NFL 2022: Offseason edition
FWIW I saw Love warming up at the GB/WFT game and that dude can spin it.. He was noticeably better than Allen and Heineke

That's the thing. He had all offseason with first team reps and most of the second half of the season when Rodgers had to wimp out because of the boo boo on his pinky toe. He hasn't shown an NFL ability in any of his games so why would a team trade for him. At this point you won't get your draft capital back so if you have faith in him as a back up keep him. |

And Martin’s deal. D-Law said no and Cooper maybe cut. They are managing to put the tag on their TE, that’s smart to keep him. |
