Eagles postgame
Well I saw this coming all week, glad I missed this game. Honestly guys , I won’t be watching much of this team this year. Until they start winning games consistently (maybe never) I won’t waste time on this shit franchise.
Ron sucks Turner sucks JDR sucks Wentz and the OL suck Defense is absolutely trash Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Re: Eagles postgame
Media has turned on the team. B Mitch, Santana and Finlay are absolutely ripping the team and are blaming coaches

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk[/quote] A lot or the majority of this is on coaching. I'm not bragging or consider myself to be some sort of football savant, but I've coached football for numerous years and I can see there's a disconnect with the coaching based on the talent and players on the team. Sure, the o-line isn't with a damn. Yes, Wentz holds onto the ball too long and imitates a statue. But Rivera, JDR, and Turner are dunces. Full blown clowns. They can't get outta their own way and needs to be relieved of their duties ASAP. |
Re: Eagles postgame
Ok so where are all you Matt Ryan, Irsay haters?? LMAO.. Not meaning to throw shit on anyone but it is a week to week league.
Wentz, Turner and the o-line were just pathetic. But I will put more on Turner simply because if you are seeing your line getting manhandled then you have to bring in an extra TE and make sure you protect your QB. Turner sucked ass today. Protect your QB. Get the ball out of his hands. Also stop with the play action shit out of shotgun. Who the fuck are you fooling w/ those weak ass play action plays? They don't work you dummy. With that being said the Eagles are better at just about every single position. Check that, they're better at every position. |
Re: Eagles postgame
2 weeks in a row they look absolutely unprepared from the start. It starts with the coaches. And since Ron is the defacto GM it falls on him for the team not having the proper personnel.
Pains me knowing the young coaching studs that were on this staff 5+ years ago. |
Re: Eagles postgame
This team is never going to win with Wentz and this Oline. Wentz has cement feet, holds on to the ball and overthrows. Cut your loses and start the rookie, he can run, is fearless and is a gamer. I feel Howell would succeed with Robinson as RB and him as QB. The future is now!!

Re: Eagles postgame
We have the worst HC and GM in the league, and they are the same person.

Re: Eagles postgame
It’s the whole franchise folks. Top to bottom. The rebrand was a distraction for what we actually have on the field. This team sucks. If it wasn’t for a lucky comeback vs Jax we’d be 0-3. I don’t see them winning 6 more games this year

We should have one , Ron and this crew can’t get it done. They’ve had a few years now and it’s the same shit every season. The excuse last year was QB sucks , well they traded for Wentz (I know he’s better than TH) but we are still 1-2. The defense is absolutely embarrassing, we made ZERO moves to make it better. Ron is supposed to be a defensive guy. Clearly he’s outdated. I’d honestly trade CY right now if we could. Get something back for him, he hasn’t done shit and is not healthy. He was supposed to be this “generational” player and he sucks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Re: Eagles postgame
what's so surprising is how much Wentz can not move anymore. i remember him in 17 and you could not get him on the ground. maybe it's the injury but he does not look the same. but he didn't have much of a chance with the line. they are just bad.

But he was overpaid and always hurt is what people said. Trading for Wentz and his $28 million dollar salary prevented from signing Scherff and Settle and cutting Ioannadis for a QB past his prime. |

I don't think BS wanted to be here anymore. Should have made more of a push for Settle. |

Concur. Heinicke would've extended many of those plays. |

Re: Eagles postgame
Hard to be too harsh on the defense IMO. They "only" gave up 24 points while the offense couldn't stay on the field, couldn't move the ball at all for most of the game.
Except the drive when they were gashed (that Curl missed tackle...) and a couple of bog plays that are going to happen when you spend the whole game on the field, I thought the secondary played decently, and the DL did generate some pressure. Negatives We thought the offense would be exciting to watch, seems like even that was a sweet dream Positives It's gonna be exciting to try and guess which squad is going to be the most dysfunctional each week. Secondary? OL ? LB ? QB ? So many disaster possibilities ! Envoyé de mon SHV48 en utilisant Tapatalk |
Re: Eagles postgame
Good - (typed good like a solid three minutes ago and can’t even think of one thing).
Terry and Samuel. Rush D was solid. Mayo was good on ST. Bad - (there is no hesitation this time) Ron - wtf was that with the challenge flag, and yet another slow start with an absolute inability to adjust in game. Turner - holy shit. What a bum. Dude really has no business coaching in the NFL. Let alone as an OC. Use McKissic out of the backfield more you dumb mofo. JDR wasn’t awful but he needs to go so he just makes the list. I think that the D was up against it as far as being on the field so much and facing poor field position. It isn’t really his fault that the secondary personnel is garbage but he still sucks. Wentz - dude. Get rid of the ball quicker holy shit. 9 sacks for like 60 yards - alot of that is on Turner but still you are a veteran- you know damn well you cant hold the ball for 5 seconds. Secondary- no words. Home crowd - either wore the wrong color again or didn’t show up. - this is on Snyder obviously. Cant blame people for not going. Dotson had a shit game. Its ok he will be a good player but he makes the bad list for this game regardless. Sweat is absolutely invisible. |
Re: Eagles postgame
offense has been shut out two weeks in a row during the first half.

Re: Eagles postgame
Poor coaching. The team just shows up never ready to play.
|
Re: Eagles postgame
Look around the league right now. We are no doubt bottom 5. Possibly dead last. Jets, Texans, Raiders, Falcons, Seattle, Chicago also in the very early driver seat for pole position in the draft.

There are about 8 good teams and the rest of the league sucks |
Re: Eagles postgame
The team last two starts is a red flag. Seriously wtf? Ron, JDR and Turner need to get this shit going.
|
Re: Eagles postgame
The most shocking thing for me is they aren’t winning any aspect of the game.
Offense only puts up points in garbage time. Defense played well today but folded under the pressure. ST is non existent. Like they are only there to not make a mistake. This team is getting beat across the board. |

There are teams outside those 8 that will find their way and at least compete. Some already are. We have gotten worse three weeks in a row. There really isn’t another team who has trended down consecutively for the first three weeks. Early, but not a good pattern. Even the Raiders have been in three tight ball games. Michah Parsons is going to kill people next week. |

Colts game!
Irsay is going to rub the Wentz trade in Snyder face. Turner will have a bucket of vanilla ice cream delivered to his hotel room. |

RR was talking about giving younger players opportunities (not going to expend the time to find it again), but that's either his job is safe in the midst of a rebuild talk, or he is dellusional. Fire everyone. |

I actually like the "W" logo. But that was coming for us at some point:

Re: Eagles postgame
We’ll never win with this coaching staff. The rest of the league has passed them by. But every time we turn over a staff or a QB, our odds of landing something better get worse.
The only way Snyder can entice even a mediocre coach to come here is to give him too much control. This whole franchise is built for failure under this owner. Even if we win the draft lottery, look at our recent draft history. Sorry, but things look bleak after two embarrassing starts when the players aren’t prepared and maybe have stopped caring. |
