I cant think of anything good that just happened? Hurts looked like dogshit, and basically was useless and they still scored 26. Should have been 33 if not for their K. 33 points and their O was one dimensional.

Quinn there are no words. You gave up by leaving #5 in to die, and gave up again at the end with almost 4 minutes left.

Edit: i forgot about the decision to not take the lead with 3. Literally didn’t want to win this game. Inexcusable.

That game felt like 10 giant steps backwards. Absolute failure by Quinn and KK this week.

We still need tons of pieces. Oline got beat up again. The defense did a lot of bending before breaking. But they ended up with 200+ rushing yards. That's awful.

I really hope having 10 days helps Jayden because he was absolutely abysmal tonight. He clearly isn't close to healthy. If he isn't 100%, play Mariota. We can win our next 2 games with Mariota then we have the bye.

Offense was not good. Kliff was not good. JD was not good. [B][I]Hated[/I][/B] going for it with less than 8 minutes left when we could have taken the lead with a FG. I'm still not sure Philly is a better team. I feel like for the most part our players were better, but our coaches were not. Once we failed on that 4th down, we gave them all the confidence they needed to close it out, and the wind was taken out of our sails.

They have a much better OLine and defense. They are vastly better than us. We need Jayden to carry us. Hard to do when hurting.

I am cautiously optimistic. Our defense really stepped up. I am thinking it is more likely to pick up a good cornerback and edge in free agency which would lead us to Offensive tackle and Wide receiver in the draft. Offensive tackles usually not available in FA. A stud offensive tackle moves Whiley to back up RT and guard if we decide to keep him. (I don't think we have the salary cap hit next year on him as we did this year.) In year one of the rebuild, I think we get to the playoffs. We are playing on house money this year and not doing badly at all. Mike Sainristil looks great and if Lattimore returns to form we are looking good.

OL banged the hell up and it showed.
QB banged up and it showed.
B Rob looked good for first game back
D was decent to good but as usual they will Crack, as most teams
Kliff was terrible outside of about 2 drives
Coaching - may have needed to bench JD5 at the half - clearly hurt

Still not gonna cry about it. Learn from it, best thing you can do.

Get it together we are still 7-4.

We can still win 11 games this year.

My advice to us all? Avoid sports talk and espn/nfln this week. Stay hopeful friends. It's just one game with a non healthy roster.

Eagles defense is borderline. Do not call them much better. I am unfortunate enough to live here and see every game. They're not as good as their record and Hurts is a fuckin joke 65% of the time.

Hurts was awful tonight. They were basically one dimensional all night. If Mariota started that game we would have built a solid lead in the first half. Quinn needs to look in the mirror tonight.

To stay sane I am going to do my best to forget what I saw tonight. We got some time to get healthy and get right. Quinn and KK better do some soul searching. I will just keep remembering we are 7-4 and forget that we are a miracle play away from being 6-5 and 2-4 over the last 6.

We are 7-4 and healing. Beat Dallas at home and be 8-4 and feeling way better.

Throw away game. Terry looked sluggish out there.

Going for it instead of kicking the field goal and taking the lead was dumb.
Defense was awesome up to that point then just folded.
Didn’t hear BSJ name called which is a good thing.

at first I thought going for it was dumb, but I do think DQ knew the defense was gassed. If we make it we can run time off and possibly kick a fg with no time left. Sainristil was huge in this game.

My problem with that sequence in the 4th quarter was KK’s play calling. We were moving the ball with pass plays. Get to 2nd and inches and do a run from shot gun. I love data and on short yardage plays that is the least successful run play. It was a very EB move. It was clear to me that 2nd half the d was struggling against the runs so LBs and safeties began to cheat opening up passing. Once they couldn’t convert the 4th I knew the only hope was bend don’t break but it was just to much

I’m not happy going 0-2 to Pennsylvania. These teams are top class and competitive tiers…where we want to be.

Clearly we aren’t there yet. This was a week was a coming back to earth week.

Warren sharp had data coming into this week with JD playing better defenses…he’s pretty average thru the air. And last night he was below average.

The line and the play calling was as bad as most of JD5 throws last night.. I can't dismiss that either, warren.

our best defense is our offense; the D for who they have did well last night but you got have long O drives to help this D

the most concerning thing about this loss is what is up with JD5, i hope its injury but he has not looked the same.

It's a MAJOR win this season if we make the playoffs; that is still very much possible

All of our losses could have been wins expect the TB game.

The only thing that chaps my ass last night is that fucking little D Bag Nick S, i hate seeing that guy happy.

People rightfully shitted all over the defense the first 4-5 week, they have better. More middle of the road than bottom half, that’s an improvement

Good news is they get about 4 days off before they go back to practice. Hopefully that time is spent resting up because they clearly need the rest.

Plenty to not like but despite the offense not doing its' job we were in it until the end. Defense probably got exhausted.

I also think that was our first failed 4th down of the season. Obviously JD is hurt because he skipped a lot of passes off the turf.

I agree with the sane non-knee jerk comments in here. It wasn't pretty to watch at times, but as ever this season, they went toe to toe with a winning team and barring some errors/bad decisions, could have won. It hurts, but look how far we've come in one offseason?

Last night was down to coaches out thinking themselves. If you can't get 1 yard on 2 run plays against that DL, then you likely aren't getting it on the 3rd. Try the FG, if you get the 3 you kick off and hope your D can keep them out of FG range. That shows more confidence in them than the gamble and putting them in must get a stop mode.

Can't blame any players, even JD5; he had a mediocre game by his standards, but he was under pressure all night and got little help from his receivers (Scary where are you?). Take 10 days to heal up and get guys back on the field. There is nothing saying we can't win out, whether the odds are bad or not, or at worst go 4 & 2 the rest of the way. We want to win the division yes, but that was pie in the sky 6 months ago, and we're on the cusp of the playoffs which was equally unlikely. As long as DQ etc. learn from their mistakes and we can stay healthy, we still have a very real chance of making the playoffs.

Everyone said all things here. It's funny how we were so concerned about our defense, only to realize that the offense was the problem in the game. JD didn't look like himself, for sure. Hopefully he will heal quickly with the extra rest.

Those ribs need to heal up. Watching our offense last night w/ him struggling, brought back terrible flashbacks of prior Washington offenses. The defense did all they could to keep us in the game until the damn broke in the 4th quarter.

This team is still lacking talent needed on defensive side to help carry when the QB is off. The Chiefs D and special teams have bailed Mahomes out on multiple occasions this year. This team is quite frankly overachieving. This is what good coaching does, they get subpar people to play above their skill level. Offense needed to give them some help last night and the D couldn't hold but so long before the dam broke. Gotta be able to stop the run and contain running QBs.

It's obvious Daniels was playing hurt, regardless of what the coach said, it impacted him. He played terrible last night. Just one game, and we got 10 days for him to heal.

So ugly game after coming off an emotional and close game against the Steelers. We had a lead in the second half against both teams - teams that aren’t in year 1 of a rebuild like we are, and with a rookie QB. And teams that unlike WSH have had the rest of a bye week already.

We are definitely a few players away from consistently competing well against those teams, and even with last night’s implosion, you can see it. We had held the Eagles to 6 points at home through 3 quarters. That’s not a small achievement, although no moral victories in football.

We obviously need help in several areas - but I trust AP to fix it. He can’t do it all in one season but we are light years ahead of where we had any reasonable right to expect. With this leadership group, I feel we will get there.

Oh, and a fuck you to the Giants for giving Saquon to the Eagles. Nice job, dipshits. He’s a legit MVP candidate.
