Giants Week
Per DQ via keim
JD5 is out vs the gmen due to his elbow injury |
Re: Giants Week
Hard to know which team is going to show up this week -- the team that fought hard against the Broncos or the team that was thinking about Cancun and not actual football against the Vikings.
Not just because I hate the Giants (although I do), I really want to see us with some fight and take this game. Losing out the rest of the season -- a real possibility -- would be even more dispiriting. Starting 3-2 and then losing 12 a staggering in a row would be just brutal. |

Re: Giants Week
JD5 is out again ? No way color me shocked

Re: Giants Week
Lose out no need to win a game

Healthy enough to play and fully healthy are two entirely different things |
Re: Giants Week
Just blitz the lights out and contain the edges. End of story.

Re: Giants Week
Our games in the Jayden era have been close, even this year’s 21-6 win. We’ve won 3 against them in the Jayden era.
Winning streak ends. Giants 19 Commanders 10 |
Re: Giants Week
We need to run the ball all day. Gmen are terrible in that department. Enough with the shotgun. Just smash mouth football please.

lol this pretty much true for the rest of the season , what a disaster |
Re: Giants Week
JD5 doesn’t need to play the rest of year. He was Roy, took a team to nfc championship….he has nothing to prove, we know who he is.
He had an injury riddled season and is injury prone…stop playing with fire. People crying like Sheehan can shut the fuck up. Season is over…he doesn’t need to “get better” unless you have serious questions about his abilities. Which one is it? |

We have nothing to gain if JD plays for next few games where our season is already lost cause, and a lot to lose if JD gets injured again late in the season. |
Re: Giants Week
Don’t know how anyone can look at how he’s played and say nah, he doesn’t need reps.
He’s still a young developing player. If he’s healthy enough to play he should be out there. |
Re: Giants Week
I agree with the caveat that he be fully healthy.

Re: Giants Week
At this point he is at risk of getting hurt and at risk of tanking our draft pick if does play and we win. The season is BBQ chicken. I will gladly trade the reps for him to go into the offseason healthy and a top 3 pick.
He can get his VR machine amped up to super, for risk-free reps. |

True -- but there's less than 100% and there's hurt to the point where the player compensates for it in ways that expose them to added injury. I assume that the doctor's recommendation that he sit out this week puts him in the latter category. |
Re: Giants Week
Third time this year we play a team coming off their bye when we are coming off a road game.
We lose again. Let's hope we put some points on the board and we don't play prevent defence for the whole game! :banghead: |

But with JD, he doesn't protect himself well. Yes, he didn't do anything stupid on the play he got injury vs Vikings but before that play, he did take a few hits that could have been avoided. |
Re: Giants Week
3-0, Commanders
|
Re: Giants Week
Bill puts us up, 10-0.
|
Re: Giants Week
Marcus has played better then JD5 this year
|
Re: Giants Week
13-0 , not bad. Another TD would be nice.
|
Re: Giants Week
22-7, going into halftime. Our tank is cancelled.
That top 5 draft pick probably gone and becomes a Top 10 draft pick. |
Re: Giants Week
We won, 29-21 in a wild game. Tank over. We aren’t getting a pick anywhere in Top 5. Take best edge or wr with our Top 10 pick.
|
Re: Giants Week
top 5 pick is still a good possibility..
|
Re: Giants Week
Defense played well despite McNichols and Mariota trying to give the game away in the 4th quarter.

Still 3 games to go a lot can change |
Re: Giants Week
It’s good to see that the team didn’t give up.
Hampton had a nice game today |

Especially since we do not play the Giants anymore. |

They gave up a lot of yards, but played well on 3rd down and the 3 points off the interception end of half was big. I still see too many missed tackles from our safeties |
Re: Giants Week
The Commanders played a good game......I was most impressed with Antonio Hamilton Sr.
|
Re: Giants Week
We snapped our 8 game losing streak.......
|
Re: Giants Week
We win. Dallas loses. Worthwhile Sunday.

Congratulations guys! nice game even with all the injuries. Dart looks lost without Daboll ,Giants Defense is pathetic even Dexter Lawrence looks like crap. Our special teams are a joke.

How do you really feel? Look - we all get it. When you have a lame duck coach, no one looks like they’re in to win - the end of the Rivera era was about as pathetic as I can recall. You all have some decent young talent (I’m afraid to say) and will be better next year (almost by default). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Absolutely. I would definitely be less optimistic if they gave up a TD on that goal line stance. Giving up the TD on 4th and 5 also was pretty low |
Re: Giants Week
The first 4 game winning streak vs NYG in 40 years LOL
