Personally, I think Vrabel will have the Pats well prepared and make it competitive. Still hoping for a Seahawks win. 35-31.

Vrabel is a terrific coach, but I think his team has not been challenged like the Seahawks.

Hoping for a good game. Assuming Darnold protects the ball and Maye doesn't go crazy, I also like Seattle. Would not be surprised if NE wins though. Maye is the real deal. Looking forward to it and the commercials.

OK, it's something of a game now maybe, and 2 great throws from Maye on that drive. But why didn't they go for 2? It's a 2 TD game now with under 13 to go.

Wonder how Jets fans feel.? Even Panther fans? Sam was a bust with both.
Vikings fans pissed too? Vikings rehabbed Sam but went with 2nd year qb JJ McCarthy ; who hadn’t even played yet after missing the previous year to injury. Well that boondoggle, played a part in Vikings firing their gm.

Sam has a ring now.

Very complete, physical team. Bigtime by Darnold winning a SB first year in Seattle. I don't think anyone will argue they are the best team in the league this year.

Oh, I was so close to getting it exactly. I actually enjoyed the game until the 4th Quarter. I love good defense, and those teams have good defenses (Seattle's D line was downright nasty). And to think we could have had Christian Gonzales. The Seahawks D was amazing (Maye is lucky to be in one piece), but I think Collingsworth was right that without Gonzales, it would have been a massive blowout.

Well deserved since they cannot give the award to the Seahawks entire D line. I actually thought the holding call on the long TD at the end he would have had was a little ticky-tacky too. But 161 total yards against a stout Pats D was impressive. I hope Cowboys fans really enjoyed watching DeMarcus Lawrence get a SB ring with another team.

Two observations.

1) Adam Peters was right in pursuing Mike McDonald way back when. BIG MISS, although not their fault.

2) We'll never understand how Rivera selected Forbes over Gonzalez in 2023. Maybe his worst call of them all, and so many very questionable.

Tough to forget, these kinds of mistakes linger as big negatives for years.

After this, with Charbonnet under contract, will Seattle still try to re-sign Walker or, well, let him walk? His price might just have increased, but I still say pursue him. He, Bill and another (Rodriguez?) would make a very good backfield.

I am not going to beat the RR drum we know he was a bad drafter. However if he takes Gonzalez there is a strong chance we don't end up with the second overall pick in 2024 and get JD. After all there were several close games in the '23 season. I'll gladly take that mistake as an error in our favor.
