I hate anyone who wins every year. Go Raiders.

I hate everyone unless it's the Skins.

The pregame show was awsome. Almost wanted to jump ship and turn a Pats fan. I still see it amazing how Ozzie can sing like like he is perfectly fine then you see him on his show and he is so messed up and can barely walk and talk.

We better whip the Raiders behind when they come to D.C. Until then go Raiders!

I had a real fantasy conundrum this week. My top QB's are Brady and Collins. I went with Collins, feeling that he'd have to throw more.

Goddamn I hate the Patriots. Their fans aren't assholes, but common' they were GIVING away tickets to Foxboro before their Super Bowls.

Re: Anyone watching the Raiders/Pats game?

I want the Pats to go 16-0 and then win 2 in the playoffs and then get destroyed by the redskins in the superbowl.
Thtat is what i want

Come out to SoCal and deal with "Raider Fan" on a daily bases. And then try and ever root for them. The Raiders and there typical fans make me want to :vomit-smi
Go Pats!

Re: Anyone watching the Raiders/Pats game?

I think the funniest thing was the interview with muscian Carlos Santana, a professed Raider fan........they asked about the Randy Moss pickup by his team, and he liked the move. Then they asked what would he think if Terrell Owens became a Raider......and Carlos said he wasn't Raider material, too much of a crybaby...... :laughing-
Ya go Carlos............
what was that? i don't really want to play moss
We've been his personal biatch ever since he joined the league in '98

2 receptions for 102 yards--a healthy 51 YPC and a TD

We get Oakland in Oakland in a few weeks :embarrass

Gawd..the Raiduh's defense is beyond wretched

Re: Anyone watching the Raiders/Pats game?

madden made a good point- what are people thinking when they say losing moss doesn't make a difference for the vikings??? yes, their offense will still be productive, but c'mon! moss changes the way D-coordinators construct their game plan!

3rd and 18 at your own 41, hand off to Zack Crockett, WTG Norv.

Thanks to Moss, my fantasy starting WR. ;)

Re: Anyone watching the Raiders/Pats game?

man the raiders have looked like crap in the second half. I need them to score so they force brady to throw another couple tds for my team!

Re: Anyone watching the Raiders/Pats game?

I thought the raiders were going to come out in the 2nd ready to attack. Not so much...

Damn, that was on a line to Moss

Re: Anyone watching the Raiders/Pats game?

What's eerily familiar about the Raiders in the 2nd half...
They look like the Redskins of the late 90's. Lot's of talent, terrible execution. Thank God Norville is attached to the Raiders like a kling-on turd. I can't stand him or the friggin' Raiders. They deserve each other. Oh yeah and: Dallas Sucks.

wilsowilso 09-09-2005 12:14 AM

Re: Anyone watching the Raiders/Pats game?

Norv keeps hiding his mouth with the play chart? Nobody is watching that guy call his plays? Norv is a good coach, but that's about it. Terrible reaction to the halftime adjustments tonight.

Did that camara just catch brady yell F#@$ really really loud after that TD?

O well i don't see the raiders comming back but who knows?

Re: Anyone watching the Raiders/Pats game?

looks like new england was a bit surprised, but that they once again made the half-time adjustments and didn't look back... Their D might not be quite as good, but it looks like they can still win... at least against the mediocre teams ;)

I forget which one of you guys said it on another thread, (paraphrase) "Looks like the Raiders will be on the short-end of a lot of 35-31 football games." So far, so good.....

And I made the right choice in my league... barely. 28 to 27.

Re: Anyone watching the Raiders/Pats game?

Life is so much better during football season, LOL

Last night played out pretty much as expected. The Raiders will be an exciting offensive team, but that D still stinks.

The Pats are again going to be strong, but they didn't look quite as strong at moments, but it is week 1 so they're going to be rusty just like everyone else.

I saw this morning on Sportscenter that the Pats are 35-3 in their last 38 games. That is just insane!

BDBohnzie 09-09-2005 10:15 AM

Re: Anyone watching the Raiders/Pats game?

Oakland's pass d (or lack there of) will prove to be their daggar in another losing season. Moss may improve them a game or 2, but 7-9 tops.

LaMont Jordan is going to get 1200+ yards and 8 TDs easy, even with Crockett taking the short yardage plays. Jordan looked good in the first half, but tailed off as they had to throw to catch up.

Corey Dillon did get shut down. 2 TDs in the 2nd Half attribute to a tired Oakland Defense. His measily 2.9 YPC is horrible.

Moss is Moss. With that 70 yard TD he caught, he will never be in single coverage the rest of the season. Jerry Porter will benefit from this.

Collins looked like shit last night. 18-40? Those are my Madden numbers. If it weren't for Moss, it would have been a lot worse.

The Pats will steamroll throught their schedule again this year. They look like a complete team, even without Crennel and Weis at the helm with Bellichek.
