The bear's D is good, but not great. When urlacher was out your D struggled. We lost our star LB, and still finished 3rd in the league.

Is this a joke? Better D by a mile? Insane for thinking Portis will have 150 yards? You're right, he could get closer to 200, considering he had 171 against the Bears last year. And two years ago he had 165 on nearly 12 yards a carry.

Didn't the bears D rank in the twenties last season and gave up over 125 a game on the ground. You have no backing you are starting a 4th round pick against the best D in the NFC and even more it is in our house, with our fans, and it is opening day. All 90000+ fans will be cheering like crazy just to further confuse your rook. Portis hit up 171 yards last time he played you and 150+ the time before when with Denver. Urlacher is overrated my friend, your only threats are D and Moose. Moose won't get anything from that unproven QB and your D won't be able to stop the run just like last year,

Even though I hate the guy, TO was by far the best WR last year and "Moose" couldn't even hold his jock. And u come in here trying to accuse us of only looking @ our own team but yet u post that your d is "better by a mile" when our d was the top d in the NFC last year, upgraded at cb and have one of our biggest defensive playmakers coming back this year with a chip on his shoulder. and how in the world is a rookie who's been playing against 2nd and third team defenses, one very solid wr, a backfield split by a rookie and a journeyman, and backed up by a top 15 defense a better option than a qb who's got 30 games of action against STARTING defenses, has a probowl caliber running back, 2 very solid wrs, a redzone monster of a TE/H-Back, and a top 5 defense? or maybe it's just me and I can't put 2 and 2 together. I don't in any way see this as anything other than a close game but the edge goes to the skins in almost every category other than special teams. :httr: :dallas:

seriously, thats some of the weakest smack ever, maybe if you had one legit point it'd be worth responding to... portis has a history of running over you and your D finished in the 20s in rank last year. Our D minus 3 starters finished 3rd.

Moose is good, but it won't matter if he can't get the ball... and he wasn't the best last year... maybe top 10. I like him though, and I think we was the best FA WR this year (barring the moss trade), though he was asking for too much money :/

You have a better pas rushing D line, but the run was a problem for the bears lat year. Our Dline didn't get world class pressure last year, but we were missing our best DE, and even without him, we gave up the least ypc. I think our secondary is much better and our scheme has been proven to work, its worked in TEN, in BUF, and most recently, in washington last year.

If you think you're scoring 30 on us, you're either dim of f**king insane. I'm not one to guarantee a win, but the skins are favored by 6.5 for a reason... Either way it'll be settled soon, but I'd highly suggest taking the under, even at 33.

Your QB was a question mark in college in the pros...he will be a corpse. I know Purdue football well and this guy never saw armageddon explode in his face when he played against Wisconsin, Michigan or Ohio State and he still shit the bed. We will see how good the bear D is mid way thorough the third quarter after having spent most of the game on the field, which they will.

Have no idea how a knowledgeable Bear's fan could say they are going to beat us, let alone dominate us? Dabears are in for a rude awakeing, they can take solice in the fact that Gibbs is not a coach who will run up the score, but the message will be sent, and the realization of a rookie QB starting the first game of the year will set in, I am sure there will be plenty to talk about this upcoming week for Bear fans every where and it wont be pretty.

The Bear's front four puts ours to shame. However the LB corps and secondary don't quite compare. We have one corner side that's unproven, but I like Taylor, Clark and Springs.

1. Kyle Orton is going to need surgery to remove Arrington's foot from his arse after tomorrow.

2. It doesn't matter how good Moose was last year because a wideout isn't any good if the quarterback is being face-planted before he gets a pass off.

3. Your defense is decent, not great, not poor, but decent. Don't get your mother's panties in a bunch over Urlacher being a good middle linebacker.

4. Your team is now one of the league's worst, so don't come here talking trash until you have something to talk trash about.

5. Until you wipe the clearasil from your face and the K-Y from your butt, please do not return to this site again.

I agee their front may be better, but not put ours to shame. Remember we were number one against the rush last year - much of that was attributed to the play of the guys in the middle Salave'a/C.Griff. and much of that was without Phil Daniels who returns healthy this year. I think in generating a pure pass rush theirs may have been more effective, but man for man I would still take our DLine.

Also, I know this guy is probably gone from the site by now. But if anyone really thinks that Mushin Muhammed is going to be the best receiver in the NFL this year because he had the gaudiest stats from last year, that's downright crazy. I'll take TO, Moss, Harrison, Chad Johnson, Michael Clayton, Javon Walker, Torry Holt, and several others before I'd take Muhammed. Nevermind the quality of the QBs throwing to them. They're all just better receivers.
