Roy Williams talks smack about Santana Moss
oh boy, little kids need to learn when to be quiet. especially after they get burned twice. Here's the transcript.
TRANSCRIPT ========= [2:49] REPORTER: So in your words, it was a scheme thing? Because you had Cooley to worry about on a 70 yarder and you were trying to read their or Santana.. [2:56] --[Roy interrupts]-- [2:57] ROY: You know what, honestly, its over. Point blank. It's over. We're not even thinking about it anymore. The play is over with. What we're worried about is San Fransisco. That play is over with. I promise you, if they run it again, I promise you, we'll get a pick out of it or Santana Moss will be on the ground hurting. Point blank. |
Re: Roy Williams talks smack about Santana Moss
gotta watch out for Cooley downfield boy, he's a BURNER
|
Re: Roy Williams talks smack about Santana Moss
Moss on the groung hurting? Does Roy mean he's on the ground out of breath from all that running? :biggthump
|
Re: Roy Williams talks smack about Santana Moss
it's hard to hurt someone when they have a few steps on you
|
Re: Roy Williams talks smack about Santana Moss
Moss made a fool out of Williams by beating him on the same play for a touchdown. He's just pissed because he knows that everyone is saying that he isn't that good in coverage.

RF, i have to say, you sounded like John Madden there. :) |
Re: Roy Williams talks smack about Santana Moss
In the words of Fat Albert:
"I love to see Herbie gettin a whuppin." |
Re: Roy Williams talks smack about Santana Moss
Wow I can't believe it took the reporter seven minutes to say the one sentance. No wonder Roy Williams is pissed. lol
|
Re: Roy Williams talks smack about Santana Moss
Ah, all the Cowboys fans here in Texas are acting like it's no big deal. Like "oh it's okay, ..." I normally cut in with "hail to the redskins" and it kills whatever point they were trying to get across.
|
Re: Roy Williams talks smack about Santana Moss
by hurt he must mean horsecollaring him like he does everyone else, because hes always beat and has to take them down from behind them...slow bitch...dirty bitch
|
Re: Roy Williams talks smack about Santana Moss
I guarantee that that kid who roughed me up when I was ten years old would get a serious beat down now that I'm all grown. Paul, if you are out there, I can kick your ass in less than ten seconds and this time around the "sand in the face" trick won't work.
p.s. Hope to hear from you soon Paul. -saden1 |
Re: Roy Williams talks smack about Santana Moss
Roy Williams is a punk and isn't half the saftey as Taylor. I hope he continues to dis Santana up to the next game at FedEx. Yeah, let the smack begin....
|
Re: Roy Williams talks smack about Santana Moss
Bring it Roy.
I saw you get burned twice on national television. I also saw several borderline plays. (penalties). Williams is a bitch and I can't wait til he's here in DC. Gonna make sure he gets an ear full from my section. Roy Williams was burned outted or whatever. Don't think upcoming opponents aren't going deep on him now. If Brunell and the Redskins can do it why can't the Eagles, Giants and Raiders??? I'll put money that we'll burn him again. Perhaps on the inside post!?!? Roy Williams please keep talking... Cowgirls are in disarray. They lose to niners sunday. |
Re: Roy Williams talks smack about Santana Moss
waah!
|
Re: Roy Williams talks smack about Santana Moss
all the talk and words in the world won't remove the stain, heck, ajax won't remove it.
burn baby burn, he's disco inferno, does the word toast mean anything to ya roy? |
Re: Roy Williams talks smack about Santana Moss
We talked about it yesterday and Roy Williams already has it in his mind that he cannot let Moss get behind him, which if he is focused on that a little more that keeps his horse collaring ass out the box. Beat them deep and get the respect as an offense that is not 0 to 1 demensional. We have a threat and hopefully other teams after they paly us say next time he won't get behind us.

Re: Roy Williams talks smack about Santana Moss
I'd love to see a battle of the Safeties. Have acouple events like a football decathalon bewteen Taylor and Williams. There'd be some regular type events like 40 yard dash and maybe a high jump or something but I'd look foward most to the Red River competetition where they run straight at each other and try and knock each other down. I think Taylor might actually kill him in that competition. I mean literally Williams might suffer a broken neck in that one.

Re: Roy Williams talks smack about Santana Moss
Those are the words of a beaten man! For a long time to come will he think about that play, and it will ruin his day. Many times Jerry Jones will reach for one to many scotch's to wash those thoughts away. Dallas fans fans every where live in fear of losing to us at the nest meeting..........................PRICELESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Roy Williams talks smack about Santana Moss
Santana Moss is very dangerous. He doesn't talk a lot. He just beats the hell out of you with the "double step" and if you look at his first TD catch he ran a zig-zag type of pattern that confused the entire Cowboys secondary. I am most impressed with his ability to catch the ball in stride and continue to the finish. I just want us to get Thrash, Patten and Jacobs on the same page as Brunell so that we have more than one deep pass weapon.

Re: Roy Williams talks smack about Santana Moss
You know Williams is going to be gunning for him in the next game..hopefully we can just burn him again.

Re: Roy Williams talks smack about Santana Moss
Here's a fun article on Williams...

Re: Roy Williams talks smack about Santana Moss
Thats a good article. Soon Taylor will be on that list of elite safties.
|
Re: Roy Williams talks smack about Santana Moss
You can't hit what you can't catch. We got deep on them all game long and will do the same when they come to DC. Gotta respect Roy, but Gibbs and Brunell did a masterful job of not allowing Roy to get any big hits. I still ache from the hit Roy gave Coles last year, great job of gameplanning to avoid giving Roy those opportunities.
I'm not so sure that Mr. Taylor will take too kindly to Roy calling out Hurricane Moss. |
Re: Roy Williams talks smack about Santana Moss
Yeah we are acting like it is no big deal, but truthfully if we get down by 7 or more in the first half we might not be able to come back against SF. We HAVE to act like it's no big deal because losing that way rips the guts out of you. No matter what anyone is saying we are still bleeding all over the floor because we watched the Redskins beat us in the time it takes to finish a half pint of beer on a hot day. As much as Parcells tries to say that they are moved on to SF and will concentrate on the positive things in the Monday night game...pffttttt, I call bullshiat! If we don't win in SF, I think we will be hard pressed to go 7-9.
Conversely, if you don't beat the Seahawks the momentum from the Monday nighter will be gone. Definately not forgotten. |
