Antonio Brown is back in burgundy. I like his speed and big play potenial on teams, but I'm not sure about him as a viable receiving threat.

I don't really like Antonio Brown, it pissed me off when he made the team ahead of Farris, just to cut after week 1. He couldn't catch a cold and he even stopped returning kicks well. Hell, he stopped fielding kicks and started fumbling the ball. I was happy when he was cut, we shouldn't have brought him back.

Maybe he is back just to return kicks? Then when Ladell is healthy, he will get cut again?! I can't see him lineing up to catch passes from Brunell. They will continue to work Jacobs out there and probably put Jimmy Farris on the field as a 3rd WR until Thrash gets healthy. Just put stick-um on Antonio's hands before he takes the field..... Heck, put stick-um on everyones hands before they take the field!!!

I thought Brown got a bad deal, we've had so many fumbles this season and nothing happens to any one but Brown, The one that stands out in my head is the Rock C. fumble in K.C., All this team does is beat them selves with turnovers. But Brown is the only one who got cut. I think he is a threat to break one on punts and kickoffs....... I think he would have set up are offense in some of the games we lost. But I'm glad he is back......... I hope he makes the most of it. hopefully if he does make a mistake Gibbs will stay with him like he has with, ever other person on this team.

I kind of agree that Brown got shafted. It seems like he was our scapegoat, but lets hope this lights a fire under his ass & he does really well this time around.

I thought Antonio Brown showed potential with the routes he ran in the last preseason game against the Ravens. He ran a great double move (about a 45 yard route) and blew by the corners, but when Brunell threw a pass that would have hit him in stride, he wasn't able to hold on to the ball. He then went on to drop more balls in that game, and the fumble in the Bears game ultimately resulted in him being cut.

If he returns kickoffs, I hope he can learn from Ladell Betts, who returns kickoffs north and south, and isn't afraid to take a hit. Brown had a tendency in the preseason to go east and west, and it didn't get him far.

As a receiver, I would mostly use him as a decoy, and place him in the slot on the same side as Santana. Thats a lot of speed on one side, and im sure brown would clear up a lot of room for Moss by taking along safeties if he just sprinted go-routes up the field. Once in a while we can throw to him, if the safeties decide to stay with Moss.

Antonio Brown does nothing to get me pumped. His receiving skills are mediocre, and he's a fumbler (at least when he returns punts). Our turnover ratio already is bad enough.

HAIL YEAH, I have been saying i wanted him back for the past two weeks, he will do great as a return man. As much as i like parsons, because he is from the "U" (of maryland), i like antonio more.

i know he won't fumble again, he can't he got fired for it. He won't do it again, he might lose some of his riskiness but that might be a good thing.

Brown was the best WR at the baltimore scrimmage and at the training camps, he had one horrible Preseason game, 1, and 1 dropped kick return

brown didnt get shafted..he just perhaps isnt hte only one that should have been cut or benched for fumbling. The guy also dropped a ton of passes, thats the main reason he got cut.

He did drop alot of passes, but he displayed amazing speed in getting ridiculously open on the passes that he dropped. Im not saying that's okay, but what you might have here is a guy who was just so nervous about making the team he wasn't putting his best effort and who if, given another chance, will blossom into a viable deep threat. But then again you might also have a guy who just can't take big league heat. Either way, I'm glad we're giving him one more shot.

I'm glad he's back. It might not of seemed like he was shafted at the time but now that we've seen everyone fumble a lot it seems a little harsh.

Maybe he does deserve another shot because if he was let go because of the fumbled and dropped passes then he was truly the scape-goat. I seriously doubt Brunell or Portis will be let go, biggest fumblers on the team.

I alway's liked the kid, but he can be tackled by a blade of grass, perhaps we should have him hold the ball like Tiki maybe that will help his fumbling problems. If he ever stopped fumbling and got stronger in the legs he could be a real find, but he has a long way to go before that happens.

Comparing the fumbles of a receiver who gets five to ten touches a game to a starting tailback(20-30 touches) and a quarterback(50-70 touches) is apples and oranges.

And I'm not buying the scapegoat angle, because he was cut after a win. Besides, our god-like coach would never turn a player into a scapegoat. Drops and fumbles = "useless" if you're a wide receiver. Who cares if you're fast and run good routes if you can't hold onto the ball?

I kind of like what Skins N Canes said about Brown getting cut. I don't believe he was a scapegoat, I believe he was just one in the many that has turned the ball over. Problem is, if we cut everybody that turns the ball over, we wouldn't have an offense.

I'm hoping Brown can show us more this time around. If he can learn to catch, he'd be a great compliment to Moss.

we also had to cut him because that was the game where hall got hurt so we needed a roster spot to sign novak

I don't know about everyone else, but I think that having a reciever with bad hands would make him pretty much useless. What's the point, when he really got a shot, preseason game #4 and week #1, all he did was drop balls. And then we cut Farris, that never made sense to me. You can't just get by on speed in this league. Plenty of people can burn, all that means is that you can apparently shut down Taylor Jacobs.

Fumbles are fumbles, and it matters less who fumbles or what position, or what the circumstances. They cause you to loose games, and that's the bottom line.

I still haven't gotten over Antonio's fumble against the Cowbitches in Texas when we had the game sealed in not for his turnover. So he's been at it for awhile. This time he should be more focused than ever because he understands what's at hand.

I don't understand why we think antonio will fumble over and over, he is a risky player, last year we saw that on that one play in dallas on the punt return, but he can be a great returner and i doubt he will do it again.

During the offseason it was Antonio fever, everyone was gitty over brown, everyone, EVERY coach, and gibbs expecially. Gibbs was extatic to have him, we were fast at WR with patten, moss, brown and jacobs, gibbs was really exited and therefore i was too. In training camp brown showed up by being absolutly awsome, he was the talk of training camp, he was making catches and he was fast. During the scrimmage he was on the field a lot with moss and patten and seriously caught 3 times as many as both of them combined. I was so ready, brown had quickly become one of my favorite players just due to the hype, he was gonna be our secret weapon. he did ok if not well 3/4 preseason games and he had a disasterous game against baltimore in the last preseason game and that eliminated him as a wide receiver and he became only a kick returner for us, what he did best, but he committed the biggest sin of a kick returner, he fumbled, running backs can fumble, WRs can fumble, but not the kick returner. After that as i was walking out the stadium at the bears game i heard numerous times that brown was done and i believed and was ready for it.

Now think he has been sitting at home with no job and he thought it was because of his fumble even though it was a combination of the preseason game and the bears game. He has been sitting there, i can't accept that he will be fumble prone, he can't be, he has had time to fix what he needed to fix, he was fired for fumbling and he won't do it again, he can't

He will come in and return kicks this week, i'll be at the game(hopefully) and the last time i was there was also the last time he played there, i can even see him getting some time at WR in 3 WR sets but i doubt much. He is gonna be important to this team these next comming weeks as we need a kick returner. I for one am happy, i think he will be a breath of fresh air and at this point in our season we need all the help we can find

Dude fumbled on a return in preseason and couldn't catch a cold. He is what we call a last option in almost all cases. I must say though, everyone deserves a second chance, hopefully he can make something of it.

I think I'd rather take my chances with Brown than with Jacobs. Brown has showed me more than Jacobs has. Sure Brown fumbled against the Cowboys, but so did Stephen Davis and Ladell Betts. Remember? Portis fumbled twice last Sunday and Brunell has fumbled 8 times in 10 games. Give the guy a second chance. At this point I think he realizes that he must produce or end up carting produce to local grocers. Farris will be full tilt though, so look out for him. As for Parsons, I'd let Brown return til Betts gets healthy.
