Why was he unsigned? He used to be pretty good, I can only think that our desperate need for a OLB to bookend Ware - or spell him - has us making this play. How good is he now? Who signs a player that is any good after Thanksgiving?

he was here for two years without playing a single down... he's got a chronic injury. Maybe BP signed him for lockerroom or teaching purposes... i doubt he sees the field.

I'll bet thats why they signed him... pierce had a year in the system and their offense owned us... now he's got an ace up his sleeve and is pushing for the at-home upset. There's no way he got signed to them based upon his playing

I wish we could have re-signed Pierce, he's a young, smart, and talented MLB who wasn't asking us to break the bank. Unfortunately, Pierce and Smoot were our first "cap casualties."

Nevertheless, we'll overcome both of those "losses." I have faith in the coaching staff.
