Hey what was with the new "Away Look", Throwback to Spurrier?!?

I liked it. It looks streamlined....... anyone have any idea who made the decision to go White on White? Team meeting perhaps?

I also like the whites. I love the yellow pants white tops you can run in Madden!

I think they are god-awful but I think it is more of a dislike for change than anything else. All that white seems weird to me. Wonder why Gibbs went this way? Any ideas?

I think they went with a change just to help break their bad luck.

I like the white on whites, one of the few positive things that came out of the Spurrier "era".

Anyone know if they will go "White on White" next week at Arzonia? If the Cards go Red and the Skins go "White on White", it will look like an offensive/defensive training camp scrimage!

I'm a Gibbs 1.0 loyalist. White jerseys/Burgundy pants are the only way to go. Just glad they got the W.

It looked like the helmets were a brighter red as well. It reminded me of the redskin helmets of the eighties. Did anyone else notice this? Not sure if I liked it. I like the deeper burgundy better, but if they keep winning I really don't care what they wear. :biggthump

I was shocked to see the white on white. I never in a milion years would have thought Gibbs would send his team out in white on white. The helmets did seem to show up brighter...I think that was because of the white uniforms though.

I think the helmets seemed brighter because of the lighting inside that dome.

They could wear turtleneck sweaters for all I care, as long as they are winning. It took me by surprise, but I think I liked the white on white.

It was a change, a needed change. I believe it helped us win. The players know that it is a new start and they must win their last 5. I hope we were them this entire year,i really do

Burgundy on Burgundy whould probably look terrible. Heck, pull out those Black shadow jerseys or whatever that thing is that Daniel Snyder is trying to push on all of us!

The Black jersey thing is so..college.

Look at Jacksonville yesterday with all black uniforms. That looked stupid. Your Team colors are your identity.

I like black uniforms. The Ravens, Raiders and Jags look pretty good in them. To me, black brings an intimidating quality to the game

Black is overplayed in the NFL, seems like anytime a team goes with an alternate jersey it's black. Yawn.

The Home team gets to decide what jerseys they want to wear. The visiting team the has to be the opposite.

If Beemnseven owned the Redskins, it would be:

Home games (except against Dallas) -- Burgundy jerseys/white pants

Away games -- White jerseys/white pants (unless home team is in whites)

Home games against Dallas -- White jerseys/burgundy pants (just for them, just to piss them off.)

I believe they did that because most team in the NFL have the dark jerseys as their home jerseys and the redskins with the exception of Tampa have been wearing there burgandy pants since the season started...so that's what I think the shange was...truly the Redskins are 2-0 in all white remember the Jets Thursday night season opener a few years back? Anyway I like the burgandy jerseys and white pants at away games...I will never approve of the Cowboys wearing their white jerseys in our stadium...I also think the Cowboys and Redskins are two old school teams with "The Good Guys wear white" type thing that why 90 percent of the time they wear white jerseys at home...I like if that way
