Well, and I haven't researched this fully but ... if the Eagles are virtually out of the playoff picture, wouldn't it be better if a playoff caliber team lost to a non-playoff caliber team? In other words, wouldn't you root for say, the Cardinals to beat a team like Minnesota since the Vikings are closer to the Redskins for a wild card spot?

Of course, this is all moot if the Seahawks have already locked up a playoff spot.

The Seawaks have already clinched a spot in the playoffs, the Eagles havent (obviously). As Skins fans we want the Eagles to lose. (Technically the Eagles could still win the NFC east) GO SEAHAWKS. DAMN GO JEREMY STEVENS

I see your point, but like you said, the Seahawks have won the West already, so I just hope the Eagles stay down.

i just like watching the eagles lose some. If we win our next 3 and lose to the eagles(entirely possible) we can still get in with a 9-7 record as long as the eagles also have a 9-7 record because we would have won 4 division games and they haven't. This game ensure that even if they win out the best they do is 9-7

biggest threats right now are in this order Giants for division, for WC expecially at 9-7 VIKINGS, Cowboys, and atlanta

Seattle has a really good team. Locally here, they were hoping a MNF game would get them noticed around the country. Consider everyone on notice. How good does that win against them look for the Skins, who btw, were the last team to beat the Seahawks.

Yes, but not on his "60 Seconds segments". Jimmy's Picks was a way more funny spot for him and ABC somehow is trying to recreate that, but really . His skit with the Gramatica kickers was one of the best skits of all-time.

Interesting, two years ago in week 4 of the seaon, the Redskins beat the Patriots 20-17. The Patriots didn't lose another game that season en route to a Super Bowl victory

Nice - I'll take $100 on Seattle! There is a similar correlation between Kentucky basketball and the Yankees. Every time Kentucky has won the national championship, the Stanks have won the World Series. I was lucky enough to get in a bet the last time it happened.

On Rome is burning (12-6) Jim asked his panel of 2 if the Eagles will be in it next year or has the window been shut on the playoff run....Both guys said the window has slammed shut. HAHAHAHA I love it when the Eagles get that kinda press. They truely looked like a 2-14 team last night. Now I guess we gotta hope they can bounce back against the Giants.
