Brian Westbrook Put on IR
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2250259
Apparently, Westbrook is done for the year. With McNabb, Westbrook, and T.O. out of the Eagles' starting lineup, we can chalk up another victory. |
Re: Brian Westbrook Put on IR
is there anybody still left on that team? I shouldn't take too much joy in another team crashing to the ground but when it's a divisional opponent who's been as good as it has been and has beaten us to a pulp a few times recently, I can't help but enjoy it a little bit and hope for a little bit more. :bdh:

Re: Brian Westbrook Put on IR
I am overcomed with joy. What do I hear in the background? Is that queens's another one bites the dust? Yea I thought so... :headbange :headbange

Re: Brian Westbrook Put on IR
serves them right. eagles fans are crying about injuries and shit, but its about damn time :spank: :spank: :spank: :spank: :spank: :spank:

Re: Brian Westbrook Put on IR
damn. The eagles are finished. Do they even have an impact player left on offense anymore?
|
Re: Brian Westbrook Put on IR
Ok well, ummmm.... lets hope they pull a quick one on the giants
|
Re: Brian Westbrook Put on IR
The Eagles have lost Donovan McNabb, Terrell Owens, Todd Pinkston, Brian Westbrook, Corell Buckhalter, Hank Fraley, Jerome McDougle, and Lito Sheppard. Plus they lost Corey Simon and Derrick Burgess to free agency.
In Redskins terms, that would be like losing Mark Brunell, Santana Moss, David Patten, Clinton Portis, Ladell Betts, Casey Rabach, Renaldo Wynn, Philip Daniels, Cornelius Griffin, and Shawn Springs. Talk about bad luck. |

Cry me a river. :laughing2

I was hoping they had something left for the Giants |
Re: Brian Westbrook Put on IR
can we save some of these injuries for next year?
|
Re: Brian Westbrook Put on IR
Well, I guess that means no help from the Eagles beating the Giants this week. If they can get beat 42-0 to the Seahawks at home, they have to be at least 20 point underdogs to the Giants at home.... Well, our slim home of running the table and winning the division just went out the window. WildCard is the most we can hope for now.
|
Re: Brian Westbrook Put on IR
The Giants still have to beat KC, which is VERY tough in December (especially at home - too bad the game is in NY!).
|
Re: Brian Westbrook Put on IR
Oh well. Out with the old, in with the new. The Eagles squandered their opportunity to win a Superbowl for the next twenty years. It's reciprocity. What goes around , comes around.

Re: Brian Westbrook Put on IR
this time the madden curse got the whole team and im loving it
|
Re: Brian Westbrook Put on IR
Those poor, poor Eagles.

Or, Madden curse. |
Re: Brian Westbrook Put on IR
i have never seen a team that lacks heart as much as the eagles.first the TO thing which should have, could have been taken care of in house if they had any TRUE leaders.and then when the going gets tough, all their star players cash it in and start vacation early.if i were an eagle fan,i would be furious at my team.thank god i know that would never happen in dc(at least as long as coach gibbs is here)

Re: Brian Westbrook Put on IR
looks like the eagle fans are just numb
I'm really not surprised. The way that this year has gone and all the injuries that have occured, it's really not a surprise right now. I can't wait for next week's injury report when Reid announces that Jevon Kearse is pregnant.
lol, iggles fans... |

dmek25:
If you "never saw a team" that had less heart than the Eagles, you haven't been following the Redskins for the last decade. They've had some years where the only motivation for players were individual stats (see Bruce Smith) and some others where players were laughing and joking about team ineptitude on the team bus after a loss. And then, there were "the Norv Years"... Ramseyfan: You forgot to add Tra Thomas to your list. So add an injury to Jon Jansen to what that would mean to the Skins. And we all know what happened to the Skins OL last year when Jansen went down. To those with short memories, it stunk! |
