Can't say it enough, let's give it up for Portis

He finishes with 1512 yards and 11 TDs on the year.

Just a monster season by our team MVP.

I can't say enough about the guy, we rode his back to this 5 game win streak and the PLAYOFFS!!

he was the only constant today. Played great the entire year

3rd player in history to hit 1500 yards in 3 of his first 4 seasons

I agree. He opened things up for the passing game, we rode his back when we needed him the most, he set the redskins record for most rushing yards in a season, 1512 on the season, he definitely was worth what we gave up for him.

I guess that trade with Denver wasn't so bad after all, huh naysayers?

Moss with a team record 1483 yards on the year, can't forget him either but CP is the man!

That 22-yard touchdown run was proof that Portis is a special player. He's a monster.

It seems like he kind of done it more quitely like he did in Denver. But still great to see him on our side. It is sure great to have him none the less. Lets hope he is here for many more to come.

You gotta love the guy, he's a workhorse, and he gets the hell beaten out of him every week...

on that note... **** THE EAGLES FANS... they were throwing shit at Portis's mom??? Thats it... I'm going out of my way to go to every eagles game and stomping the shit out of everyone I see wearing green until I get arrested. These guys are horrible, and they pride themselves on being the scum of the NFL....on top of that they act the same at our house as they do in theirs, and I've had it. I agree with the rules of Fed Ex that we should be gracious hosts for the most part, but these asswipes are bringing it on themselves.

Portis should break out the championship belt he has.

He's not quite the homerun hitter he was in Denver, but I'd argue he's a more complete back now.

the more we run mr portis, the farther we go in the playoffs

did anyone notice the block that clinton had on the pass rusher during the first skins touchdown ? portis knocked that guy back 5 yards. plays like that separate portis from other backs.

Re: Can't say it enough, let's give it up for Portis

Over 3000 yards of combined offense between Portis and Moss. Imagine if we had a 2nd WR who could push for 1000yds. With Cooley, Sellers and Betts on top, we could potentially have the best overall O in the division, if not the league.

Re: Can't say it enough, let's give it up for Portis

He had alot of awesome blocks this game... if you pay attention to that stuff, he'll take out a guy who outweighs him by 40lbs like he's nothing...

Also, that was a nice throw down by santana on the int. that got called back for holding... I was cracking up laughing...
