I just saw on SportsCenter that the Skins just signed J.Lumpston. True?

yea, a rb from the cfl. he signed a two year contract with the skins. the article says he had offers from other teams but chose the skins, so maybe he's a pretty good player.

side note, this signing makes me wonder if the skins are gonna resign rock or trade ladell betts.

I think it's just some depth for mini-camp and training camp. Unless he absolutely blows them away. I think he won the Canadian equivalent of the Heisman a couple of years ago. Either way, I doubt he'll be around come September

that definately could be the case but it just makes me wonder cuz i'm sure the skins could get some value for betts, as well as ramsey, if they decided to trade those guys. the skins could really use some draft picks to make up for the loss of a first round pick.

Come on now. Do you really think that they would trade Ladell Betts because they signed this guy? Ladell Betts is a huge insurance policy. This guy will be lucky to make the team.

maybe this is what saunders wants to be the larry johnson to holmes for the skins portis. this could be all saunders recruiting, this is very interesting, and im almost excited., lumsden rushed for 1800 yards in his canadian college team.

i think they would trade ladell betts if they resigned rock cartright. rock would take over ladells spot, they bring up nemo and this new guy would go to the practice squad.


this is just a thought, i'm not saying it's gonna happen, i'm not even saying i think it's gonna happen, just a possible scenario.

guys this shouldnt even be news. he wont make the team. just here for mini camp depth. he'll try out but he is not making it. for those of u getting excited, dont.
