How about Farve for Brunell and Ramsey
Ok it would never happen but just thinking about Farve. Why would he want to come back next year? They have not signed any WRs to support him. I sure would not come back next year if I was him. But could you imagine that happening him playing for us? WOW.

Re: How about Farve for Brunell and Ramsey
he's well past his prime, and he doesn't play within a system. IF he's anything like last year, i'd have to say no thanks, but that wasn't totally his fault.
as for WRs, they have driver and walker may still be back... driver is a #1 quality guy. |
Re: How about Farve for Brunell and Ramsey
So are you saying that Brunell is better than Farve?

i'm saying its not happening and with farve's contract and the fact that he milks retirement talk every year and might only last one season it'd be pointless. |

Re: How about Farve for Brunell and Ramsey
That's just dumb. Brett Farve should never dawn another uniform other than a Packer uniform in his life. I think about it even more, and if you want to be realistic about it, real dumb. You have a guy who, right now doesn't know if he wants to play. OK, so you trade for him, trading away atleast one guy who knows the Joe Gibbs offense inside and out (Brunell), and bringing in the pass happy Farve, who will just throw it and maybe only last one season, if that one season. The young QB in Campell loose the mentor on the roster in Brunell, who one, is nothing but positive, but two turns to Campell and can tell him whatever he needs to know about each and every play.
Favre on the other hand, will one, be disgruntled, two not be willing to teach. Dumb, and no team would ever trade a starter for two quarterbacks, why take a cap hit on two guys when you will only play one. Ramsey would cost the packers around 1.5 million against the cap and would probably sit on the bench. |
Re: How about Farve for Brunell and Ramsey
How about NO...Not to take anything away from Farve, but he has always thrown those balls that make me wonder "WHY"...sort of like Ramsey.

Re: How about Farve for Brunell and Ramsey
Brunell will at least throw less picks.

In this offense he is. Gibbs would have a fit when Farve throws his 3rd INT of the game. |

he pulled ramsey for less. |
Re: How about Farve for Brunell and Ramsey
I think we should trade Brunell, Campbell, Ramsey, and Collins for Favre.
:yeahright :Smoker: :Flush: :vomit: :cheers :drink |
Re: How about Farve for Brunell and Ramsey
The most important (and most overlooked and underrated) QB stat: TD/INT Ratio.
For 2005: Brunell: 23/10 (2.3:1) Favre: 20/29 (1:1.45) At this point, Brunell for Favre straight up would be a terrible deal. |
Re: How about Farve for Brunell and Ramsey
 And ..., why would Brett Farve want to come here when he can throw to Rod Gardner?
