Steal of the draft:
I'm gonna put my vote in for Bruce Gradkowski of Toledo. He's got intangibles, 4.5 speed, a good arm, and good size at 6' 2". The Bucs got a real gem in the 6th round.

Re: Steal of the draft:
Orien Harris with the last pick in the 4th.
Winston Justice to the Eagles in the 2nd. |
Re: Steal of the draft:
Reggie Bush with the #2 overall
|
Re: Steal of the draft:
Theres something about Justice that the Bucs know that most of the league doesnt. He would have been a perfect fit there.

Re: Steal of the draft:
Steal of the first day was...either Ashton Youboty or Richard Marshall
|
Re: Steal of the draft:
Youboty is a good pick for steal of the draft.
|
Re: Steal of the draft:
If the character issues aren't a problem in the future, Jimmy Williams could be a steal.
|
Re: Steal of the draft:
better watch how you are using the word steal:)
|
Re: Steal of the draft:
Richard Marshall, Stanley McClover, and Fred Matua could all be big time steals.
|
Re: Steal of the draft:
LenDale White - no question he is the steal of the draft and he and Vince Young will be something to watch over the next couple years.

With his big contract, and the drafting of Vince Young, you have seen the last of Steve "Air" McNair. The Titans will still not be good this year and we will all see Young early in the season. |

I respectfully disagree. Billy Volek took to Chow's system better than McNair, but there were internal problems with flat out benching McNair during the season. The Titans front office basically waited for McNairs annual injury bug, and it never happened. Volek will be very good this year, And I think the Titans and the Jets had the best drafts. I would have added SF, but after Davis, their picks stunk. 1 more thing. I know drafting kickers and punters is taboo, but I wish we would have grabbed Sam Koch P from here in Nebraska. The kid kicks bombs, and kicking in these elements are challenging to say the least. Watch him with the Ravens. (ugh, I spit that teams name out.) |
Re: Steal of the draft:
Chad Jackson, Winston Justice, Jimmy Williams, Richard Marshall, Stanley McClover, Fred Matua, Todd Watkins, dee webb, a bunch of the DTs (harris, wright, watson).
plenty of good talent fell. AZ and PHI had the best drafts start to finish, rams had a very good day 1. lots of other teams (like the browns) found 3 starters. |

Re: Steal of the draft:
Aaron Rodgers is the assumed successor to Favre whenever he retires but I wouldn't be surprised if Ingle Martin has something to say about that.
