Solomon Wilcots gives the Skins some respect

okay, i turned nfl total access on about 5 minutes ago, and solomon wilcots was on there talking to derrin horton about the NFC East and who he thinks is gonna come out on top. He said it will be Washington, then Dallas, then New York, then Philly. He said we have a championship caliber defense, and the biggest offseason acquisition of Saunders on O is really gonna help us this year. He said T.O. will really make Dallas' offense better, as well as the players around him, but it won't help Dallas enough to win the division. He talked about Arrington in New York, and how he can help, as well as his tendency to freelance and how that might hurt New York, and he said Philly's linebackers are gonna be a big weakness up there.

He seems to be stealing my opinions again. Touche.

Although I like the optimism for the Redskins, I can't see Dallas having a better season than NYG.

Even if Lavar is a bust, they've got a pretty nasty squad over there.

Except their QB is horrific on the road.

Eli Manning 2005

Home Games: 14 TD/11 INT/69.8 QB rating
Road Games: 10 TD/6 INT/81.5 QB rating

him or his team?

EDIT: fixed stats to appear normal

Did Wilcots permanently replace Riggo on Sirius Radio's "Afternoon Blitz"?

Yeah, he's been high on the Redskins on Sirrius for a while.

Agreed - that is one hell of a group. Strahan and Umenyoreiaiaeea (my spelling is a bit off) are probably the best DE tandem in the league, and the LBs weren't bad before Arrington. Remains to be seen whether Lavar helps or hurts, but I'd be surprised if he actually hurts the defense. At worst he just won't make much of a difference.
