As a father I am absolutely devastated hearing this. You don't need to be a Lakers fan, or even a basketball fan, to feel for the Odom family now.

i too am a parent and the thought of losing one of my children is just heart wrenching.

Absolutley awful.

The worst thing a parent can do is bury their child.

I feel very very bad for the Odom family at this time, and wish them the best.

It's because of unfortunate occurences like this that every morning I go to work before my neice is awake, I check to make sure she's doing alright and doesn't have a blanket covering her face in her crib. My thoughts and prayers are with the Odoms during this incredibily troubling time.
