I am driving there from Virginia Beach. I wanted to see if there are any other warpathers going. I am bringing one of my friends. She is from philly and a big eagles fan. I don't think she knows what she is getting herself into. mwhahaha!

August 5th is the Skins/Ravens scrimmage at FedEx Field...

Last year at the scrimmage the skins led the first half then 2nd half the 4th stringers blew the game. Baltimore fans acted like it was a regular season game. Why even play a scrimmage, why jeopardize health? Will the free admission be available for the lower level or club level?? Scrimmages really mean nothing, if gibbs wants to put the ball on the 30yd line to kick he can, then move it forward to do a pass he can, its so lame. I may go so b/c it wasnt televised last year at all in the Bmore area at least.

Looks like Aug 5th will be a family fun day. I guess I'll be sober (somewhat). But it'll be my kid's first trip to FedEx!

I park at the new carrolton train station and then bus in. It is much cheaper but I don't know if they will run a bus for this.

Do we have an official WP meetup? My section during the reg season is 129 which is kinda in the corner, but since I am not forced to sit there maybe we could try to meetup somewhere near midfield about midway back in the first section? Anyone have any thoughts? Im pretty sure ill be there from Richmond.

i'll go, how close is the nearest metro/bus stop? I'll use that - I'm not driving if 40k people are going to show up, but if someone near me is going i can always tag along too.

I think Morgan Blvd. is less than a mile's jaunt up to the stadium...[url=http://www.wmata.com/events/venues.cfm#FedEx_Field]here's Metro's page on how to use them for FedEx events[/url]

but don't be afraid to drive. if you stagger when you arrive with when you leave, it's not a big deal either way getting out of there.
