Do these guys have a beef with eachother?????? I've heard a couple possible cracks at eachother...especially Sunny making cracks about Joe. What do you guys think?

I don't think there has ever been any love lost between them, but of course that happens when you're competing for the same position. Sonny still calls Joe, Thees-man as opposed to Thei-sman.

when i think of sonny, i think of an old guy. its hard to believe they were teammates. i can still remember joey t returning punts when he first came to Washington. can you imagine that nowadays. hey Jason, you cant beat out brunell, so now your on the kick off team. boy, have times changed

There is some dislike between them. When Joe came into Wash. in 74 he was telling everyone that the reason he didn't win the Heisman was becasue the voters felt sorry for Jim Plunkett's parents. Plunkett's parents are blind. Plus he kept bugging the coaches to put him in the game. Not wanting to pay his dues. So I guess this pissed of the vets, Sonny and Billy.

the only reason he calls him theesman is because at notre dame he changed the way u pronounce is name to theisman to rhyme with heisman i really think the notre dame folks did that anyways i have never heard sonny slam anyone let alone any redskin that didnt deserve it....

I think they're both arrogant pricks. I'm sure Theisman pissed-off Sonny sometime in the past and the old man is still grinding an axe for him.

As bad as Theisman is now he was unbearable as a player. I think his broadcasting skills have improved tremendously over the years though.

Even though is speak despairingly of these guys, I still listen to everything they say and eat it up.

I'm a hopeless skins addict.

[SIZE=3]sonny and joe are the best quarterbacks[/SIZE] this team has had outside of sammy baugh bar none.

I just reread your post.....I am more upset about it now....We need to have a Pow wow. I find it hard to believe you have ANY Redskin knowledge to make your "pea" brain make such a ludicrious statement. You have insulted everything that not only Gibbs thought was righteous(rightfully so) but you decided to shit on Lombardi as well? Dude chill, maybe you need to read the post again. It says nothing about Gibbs and I love #9 and #7 I just think they're a little too ego driven that's all. As far as phoenix goes I could give a shit I'm a son of the Commonwealth.
