No experience...I don't think it's a good idea. He SHOULD be an Offensive Coordinator or even QB coach to start out with...then work his way up.

If he was interested in the Rice or Temple job, jumping right in as the big cheese with no experience would be OK, but NOT at a school where you'll be strung up onthe goalpost for not winning a National Championship every year.

I agree - I don't see what basis he has for considering himself a serious candidate for that job.

Its a rough job. Rough fans, lousy facility. Needs someone who can seriously handle a............mischievous bunch of guys. Kosar sems like a nice guy. It will EAT him

And it would've turned out like when Magic Johnson DID coach the Lakers. 5 Wins and 10 Losses...then he quit because the ship was sinking FAST.
