Derrick Dockery's Agent
Dows anyone know who the agent is for Derrick Dockery as this can effect the Skins ability to resign him? I don't think it was the Postons, but if it is Drew Rosenhaus that could mean trouble as far as contract size goes.

Re: Derrick Dockery's Agent
I think Dock will get signed even if T.O. is his agent. I would be too worried about it.

Re: Derrick Dockery's Agent
Well, Dockery was quoted in the Washington Times back on the 28th that he was going to tell his agent "do whatever it takes to get a deal done." I just found that doing a search for his agent. If that's the way he feels then they should be able to find a way to bring him back.

Re: Derrick Dockery's Agent
Barring outrageous contract demands by Dockery, I'll be more than upset if the front office decides to let another home-grown player go in order to go overpay some free agent from another team. What does "Core Redskin" mean if we let them leave?

Given their history, it means you are gone in 1-3 years. |
Re: Derrick Dockery's Agent
Dockery is represented by Todd France who, besides Dockery, represents Ronnie Brown, Priest Holmes, Takeo Spikes, Kendrell Bell, and Carlos Rogers

Re: Derrick Dockery's Agent
I distinctly remember the offensive line coaches saying that Dock would be "a project" right after they drafted him. He has improved every season and Bugel's crew deserves alot of the credit for his progress. He still has plenty of room for improvement, but I would hope that the coaches/front office would take into consideration the time and effort it's taken to get him to this point as a "Dirtbag" and get him signed soon. He needs to stay a Redskin!

Samuels loves him. He's going nowhere.

Ex-freaking-actly. Guaranteed if Dockery walks, the team atmosphere goes down the shitter. If we don't start winning right out of the gate with him gone, the team is going to lay down and quit. |

That was Todd Frantz, I know nothing about France |
Re: Derrick Dockery's Agent
We MUST resign dock. He was one of our best linemen last year and is only going to get better! Keep this line together at all costs.
Let's not forget, for the most part the Redskins have a great relationship with Rosenhause (sp?). Besides his TO deal, he gets his players signed quick and for a fair price. He's still a very good agent. During the TO deal he got at least 2-3 players decent contracts without anyone saying anything. |
Re: Derrick Dockery's Agent
what does drew rosenhaus have to do with dockery?
