Out of all trade possibilities of restricted free agents, this one has yet to be brought up, and in my opinion it is the one that makes the most sense for our team. I know Jarred Allen is a RFA, but I dont know what wed have to give up to get him, but I would gladly swap picks with KC, and give a 3rd next year for this guy, he is just a monster. He is a sack machine with 18.5 over the past 2 years, he is young at the age of 25 (just turned it recently too), he terriffic against the run with 77 tackles last season, 65 solo, he had 10 pass deflections, which is alot, he is very durable, missing only one game out of three years and that was in his rookie season, and not to mention the redskins need a solid DE like there is no tomorow. Not only is he solid, i might go as far as to say that he is possibly the best complete DE in the league. I might even considering giving up our 6 pick for him, he is that good. Why has this not been brought up? Am I the only one who thinks hes that great, or is there something that I dont know?

He's got some serious off the field issues and he could be facing an 8 game ban this year. He's a two-time drunk driving offender.

Did anybody mention Jared Allen has character issues? He might get banned for 8 games.

Allen's good, but it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to trade for him now when we can get him for no compensation at this time next year.

Actually, it probably doesn't make a whole lot of sense to go pay a 5th year player (when his value is at its highest), but I guess there are a lot of places worse for spending our money than at the DE position.

Trading for Allen makes no sense when we could potentially get a better player by simply sticking to the sixth pick.

hes a good de, seems to have some issues and def. isnt worth dropping down in the st round when adams, carriker, or anderson would be better imo
