Buying a Redskins Uniform
 

Does anyone know whether I can buy a Redskins uniform? Jerseys are, of course, easy to find, but I need to find the socks, gloves, girdle, etc. I've found a nice [URL="http://cgi.ebay.com/CLINTON-PORTIS-Football-Helmet-WASHINGTON-REDSKINS_W0QQitemZ8777810006QQihZ015QQcategoryZ37744QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItem"]helmet[/URL], but would like to buy the rest of the uniform. I'm buying a mannequin and plan to outfit it with the uniform for my basement. So far, I've looked at nflshop, redskins.com, amazon, ebay, and google. I cannot believe that I cannot find anything. Any help would be much appreciated.

Also, as far as jerseys go, where can you find jerseys whose sleeves don't come down to your a--? I'd like to find the kind of jersey that the players wear, i.e., the ones with elastic around the sleeves.

I got a pair of game worn pants, more like shorts down to the knee, at the end of season sale. They usually sell jerseys, pants, etc about a week or 2 after the season ends. As for the hip pads Im assuming you are talking about I would check a Modells or Dicks sporting goods store that way your not paying the NFL authentic prices. They are pretty expensive though. There used to be a guy on ebay that sold gloves that were the exact replicas of the ones that moss and portis wore. They weren;t ever worn by the players but they were the same thing. Hope that helps.

I have seen everything you need at one time or another on e-bay. Just look for a few months and it will all turn up. You can find a better deal on a helmet as well. Good luck

I have no clue why I couldn't find those pants. I looked and looked and looked on ebay.

Here is a better deal on a Redskins helmet. You can buy one at the mall for $299.
