A 5-2 prediction for us the rest of the way, huh. Sounds optimistic from where I'm sitting, but I hope you're right.

And a very slight problem with your predictions, you have 3 wildcards and no NFC South winner.

While I'm not going to make a prediction...

Ninjalink - someone has to win the NFC South and make the playoffs...which in your scenario throws out the 9-7 Lions...who will it be?

Yeah, I made a mistake. I corrected it.

realistically, I dont see us going 5-2 from here on out...i think we lose to the cowboys twice (sad but true-unless they are resting people in week 17) and lose to the giants at giant stadium. You also have Tampa finishing 11-5, which means they are a (very?) good team, which means it could be another loss for our skins. Ultimately, I think we get 4 wins 3 losses, and we finish 9-7. Not sure where that will leave us in the playoff hunt- likely on the outside looking in...

NFC East: Dallas 13-3
NFC South: Tampa Bay 10-6
NFC Central: Green Bay 12-4
NFC West: Seattle 8-8

Wildcards: Giants 11-5 and Washington 9-7

For Washington, it is time to start taking the games that look very winnable on paper and pounding those teams on the field. Beating Tampa, Buffalo, Chicago, and Minnesota gets us to at least 9-7 regardless of how we play against Dallas and the Giants.

With my Washington Redskins prediction of 10-6. I think they redskins will lose against the Bucs and Cowboys (once). I think they are able to win the remainder of the games. (Hopefully!)

While I REALLY like Adrian Peterson, it's going to be HUGE for him to be out against us. If we lose to an AP-less Vikings, we don't even deserve to see the playoffs.

Even with these playoff predictions, these teams still have a long way...For Example: The Cowboys got a schedule of Redskins (twice), Eagles, Packers, Lions, Panthers etc. It is tough to tell if they are even going to win the division to be honest.

Cowboys have already dominated the Eagles at Lincoln and will not loose to them in Texas Stadium, the Lions gaem will be interesting because the Lions always seem to flip a different switch when playing Dallas. However the Lions do not have a running game that scares anyone.

Panthers? Please they don't know from one week to the next who is going to be thier QB.

The Packers game is in Dallas and it will be the biggest game of the year in the NFC this year. That is a game that will decide the #1 seed in the NFC playoff picture. Green Bay is an enigma and is winning games in spite of thier running game rather than because of it. Put plenty of pressure on Favre and he will make Favre-like mistakes. He maybe the NFL all-time TD passing leader, but he is also the NFL all-time interception leader. That will be a good game.

Everyone likes to point out that the Packers have no running game, but Ryan Grant just put up 119 yards and a TD rushing on the Vikings last week, who use to be pretty good against the run.

The Packers running game will improve down the streach IMO and their D is playing great right now. If the Skins fall apart, I am cheering for Favre to win it all and retire after this season.

You give the Giants way too much credit. Did you watch their game against Dallas? Why can't your Redskins win the next game against them. Stop Jacobs and Eli will play into your hands and make mistakes. I thnk the Skins have a better D than the Giants and will have a better record.
