Looks like we're more popular than I thought.

The TB/SF game wasn't a draw, so we got the cut. I wonder if the opportunity for Michaels and Madden to eulogize Taylor was a factor.

I am thinking about walking over to the Falcons game tonight and actually rooting for those dogs, even though I hate them. We need to Saints to lose!

A Saints loss tonight would be big. We would control our own destiny, and on top of that, we really wouldn't even be in a must win game this week.

Interesting move, it's almost as if NBC is banking on the Skins & vikes to win this sunday. Even if we lose to the g-men we may still be in it, but not as much.

I think they mostly want to show Petersen. I'm sure they took the game [I]in spite[/I] of the fact that we were the Vikings opponent. Two straight weeks of Madden dissing the Skins - whoopee!

I've never really noticed Madden being excessively harsh on the Skins. Maybe it's just me.

The NFL has to decide by Tuesday 12/11 what the 12/23 prime time game will be. If you look at the other matchups, there is nothing else compelling (AFC is pretty much a lock, and no other potential wild-card matchups are out there).

I think this has less to do with Taylor and more to do with the playoffs.

As I noted, the NFL [U]has[/U] to decide by tomorrow what the 8:15p game will be. They can't wait till after Sunday to see if it matters anymore.
