Just looking for some advice on getting Life Insurance. What sort of questions should I be asking? What should I avoid?

I was told 10 times my salary should be my starting point. i make 50k. 500K in coverage.

I actually own an insurance agency. First, you need to determine the amount of coverage, second, you need to determine how long do you want the coverage. If you PM me, I can give you some advice as to what to look for. You also want to check the AM Best rating of the company.
