The Pioneer Press reports the Vikings have agreed in principle on a deal that would send WR Troy Williamson to the Jacksonville Jaguars for a second-day pick, according to a person with knowledge of the situation. The trade cannot become official, however, until the start of the league year Thursday at 11 p.m. CST

This guy was all the rage coming into the draft a few years ago. I wonder where he'll fit in with Jones, Williams, and Wilford?

they need a speed guy & he's definitely that, but speed doesn't mean much if you can't catch.
I recall something being said about his poor eyesight & him going to doctors to have it corrected. guess at the combine a few years ago his vision was deemed ok.

And as far as we know they can release him without incurring a cap penelty. That is unless he gets a new contract.

I was saying to a bunch of people that we should sign him cus he's a big target that could compete for cheap..

I thought I heard that, depending on playing time, the Vikings could get as high as a 4th rounder

He is overrated, he could use some time somewhere else.

If they added glue to his hands it may be a good trade for them.

He has talent, just look at how valuable he was as a KR / PR. Maybe they will use him more in Jacksonville? So far, he has done nothing as a WR, but that might be due to lack of opportunity. (and injury)
