I Am Legend - Original Ending
 

For all those who saw the movie and thought the ending fell a little short, here is the original ending...

personally I dont know how i feel about this one either, shouldve just followed the book.

That was stupid, it made them seem more human which they were not portrayed as throughout the movie. Personally I love open ended movies because it meant for you to determine the outcome, and most people cannot deal with having to make the decision in their mind and they want everything handing to them. Also it makes the ending better if Will Smith dies, IMO. The regular ending was kind of corny when they showed the establishment at the end, however.

This is also why I Love LOST, they leave so many things open-ended which is great for me because I like it that way. I loved the ending of last season because it was amazing and it made me think and wonder.

Oh so what im stupid now? WTF you wanna fight about it? j/k... Yeah I wasnt too big on the alternate ending either, I think it wouldve been way cooler if they had followed the book which basically had the night vampire beasts begin to take control of their rage, they can act human when need be and even come out during the day, they start killing off the vampires that havent evolved to be able to control it yet and ultimatley kill neville because he's the only one left who was different than they were.

I've finally realized I am Legend was a crappy movie. The original ending left me unsatisfied, and the new ending didn't quench my thirst.

That sounds interesting, and then the alternate ending would make more sense(well Smith should still die). Is the book worth a read?

i am legend was great (will smith can act his way out of anything now it seems).

that alternate ending is trash though.

Its a pretty cool book, its got a very good concept and the plot is pretty good but the writing is lacking, Id say overall its worth it to give the book a look at.
