Re: ignorance at it's best
LOL...the third person interviewed (guy holding the kid) looks and talks like the Pastor from "There Will Be Blood." I would have said to them "The Blacks" are taking over, sooner you come to terms with it the better and then introduce to them the Five Stages of Grief so they can better deal with the prospect of the reign of "The Black Man":

Denial: "Go Palin/McCain!"
Anger: "Terrorist! Kill Him!"
Bargaining: "Please God, don't let the black man win."
Depression: "I can't believe the black man won. We are ruined! The sky is going to fall!"
Acceptance: "We deserve to lose, we'll come back stronger in 2016 (not going to happen in 2012 that's for sure)."
|
Re: ignorance at it's best
That was painful to watch. The ignorance in this country is amazing.

Wow, I really hate how some people can be so dumb in our country. Obama is anti-white lol wtf? If anything "Barry" Obama is a double-stuffed oreo. I feel bad for Taylor, at least he gives me hope that there are some smart people out there in redneckville. |
Re: ignorance at it's best
In terms of polarization, as the interview mentioned, it is very imminent in VA.
Driving down to Charlottesville today, from Chantilly, almost all the houses roadside Route 29 have huge McCain banners, I did not see one Obama supporter, and I sure the few that are there are too scared to show their view. Even in "liberal" N.Va., my neighborhood has tons of McCain signs and few Obama signs. It's just weird, the race is portrayed as close, but on a local level it really isn't. |
Re: ignorance at it's best
No surprise @ the bigotry and racism that still pervades the country - what I find unbelievable is how the mainstream media has basically condoned this shit IMO by not reporting on the filth we can view on YouTube and elsewhere. It's sort of like CNN, NBC, FOX and the rest are afraid to show how deeply ignorant and backward so many people are (maybe fear of losing viewers, I'm not sure).
One thing I know, if Obama actually wins he'll need more secret service/security precautions than any leader in history (at least while he's in his own country). |
Re: ignorance at it's best
whats funny, is that I work in culpeper and know several country redneck white people who will publicly bash obama, but have admitted in confidence that they will be voting for him... strange....

haha, that's really lame. Like I said, I feel like people in areas that are very red are kinda scared to show their true colors. |
Re: ignorance at it's best
That was sort of like a low key community KKK rally except nobody could afford to wash their funny costumes because they don't have jobs anymore as the party they support could care less about nitwits stuck in the 1950's middle of nowhere Ohio.

It's so sad you just have to laugh. The line I like the most:
When you have a Nigger running for high president, he ain't a first stringer, he's definitely a second stringer.
|

Not that what he said is acceptable, but I am pretty sure he said "negro". |

I couldn't tell. I wouldn't be surprised...southern vernacular is unfamiliar to me. |
Re: ignorance at it's best
Lots of sad and pathetic people out there.
Let me ask this though, and this isn't to imply any of them are ignorant, but is it too far a stretch to say that while a lot of White people won't vote for Obama because he's Black, there are Blacks who will vote for him primarily because he's Black? I mean not that they are looking only at that, or that what they don't like about McCain is that he's White, but that the color of Obama's skin swings their votes in his favor. |
Re: ignorance at it's best
Yes its def. ignorance at its best but who else would these people vote for? Reason I ask that is people are spinning this like McCain/Palin are attracting these people but if your a raciest who else would you be supporting. Its just a sad fact that because of Obama's skin color these nuts will support McCain just for that fact. I'm sure their are plenty of people who are voting for Obama because of his skin color alone as Smoot pointed out.

I think this issue has already been address in the past. Simply put, black people don't vote Republican. They will vote for a democrat 9 out of 10 times.
